Delicious selection of authentic items. We go here and pick up fresh bread and pastries whenever we can. I recommend checking out all the brats I love them. Was so thrilled to find this place in the middle of Texas. The kids love it because they get free candy.

It’s such a cute small place. I am so happy to stumble upon it. Stepping inside and seeing things that brought back some yummy memories of our time living in Germany. The staff were all so friendly! And the pumpkin seed loaf….DELICIOUS! They even had brats and sausages in the back! We came later in the day, so their pastries were almost out, but a tip to come when they open. So I will for sure be back!

What a wonderful store, a truly one of a kind authentic German bakery & deli here in central Texas. If you like the taste of German food, you will love this place. Even the ladies behind the counter speaks Deutsch, it gives you the feeling of being in a little German store. They create the most amazing pastries, cakes, cookies and breads. Their deli stocks a nice variety of sausages, cold cuts, bacon, ham, and more. There’s even a rack of German magazines. I love this place. I’ve got to go back and try the Buttercream Mocca and some real German bread. I imagine I’ll be making many trips in the future from Dallas, it will be a nice treat.

I am from Houston, Texas. We don’t have a good german bakery & deli close. I was in Waco on business and decided to come down.
OMG!!! It is like going back to Germany. All of the meats, cheeses, baked goods, desserts, candy, drinks and condiments.
I could have spent a bunch more. I mainly came for lieberkase but left with more than I planned since I wanted to bring a little Germany back to the family when I return tomorrow.
I/we will be back.

Updated review: It’s been a few years since I’ve got a chance to stop by this bakery, sadly. I got a chance to, and nothing has changed. They are still friendly, welcoming, and offer some of the absolute best pastries in the area. If you love sweets, you love this bakery!
Stopped by finally after passing by it so many times. I must say the cherry cream cheese danish I had was by far the best danish I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be frequenting this establishment more.

Total German deli and Bäckerei. Tons of choices of authentic German products directly from Germany. Chocolates, gravies, cookies, drinks, too much to fully list. That’s the grocery part. The deli and desserts. Several meats and cheeses. Several desserts and pastries. I had the cherry cheesecake. Warmed it up that evening when I got home. Oh my. Tastes were on point. Giving that a 9.5 out of 10. The apple pastry I ate in the car on the way home earlier in the day. Flakey, tangy apple flavor, it was a perfect experience. 10 for that
Clear German accents from everyone that I heard and talked to. Everyone that worked there had a great German attitude. Fantastic experience. Will be going back later today.
Overall, 10 out of 10. Wish this place wasn’t 2 hours from my house.

My sister came to town after thirty years of me having to go to her. Never had German food, and my wife, who is from Germany, swears that they have the best German food in Central Texas

Best brats and other German meat. Potato and cucumber salads were authentic and delicious. And the pastries? Most everyone was speaking .

Great bakery but not much selection in German sausage or deli. We may have gone on an off day or too late in the day. We will try visiting again.
