This vibrant space, home to both a delightful Café & Bakery and a hub for local food talent and artisans, proved to be far more than just a venue.
The class itself was both fun and incredibly informative. The owner and specialist leading the session took their time, patiently guiding us through each step of the cocktail creation process. Their dedication to explaining the nuances of mixology made learning genuinely enjoyable.
As a bonus, we received fantastic cocktail recipe cards to take home, ensuring we can recreate our newfound skills, and enjoyed delicious food while we learned.
What really struck me about La Boug BCS is its incredible versatility. Beyond amazing cooking classes and “Dining With The Chef” pop-ups, I can easily see this space being perfect for a multitude of group experiences – from book clubs and painting classes to intimate family cooking events or networking sessions.
For any group visiting the area, I highly recommend adding a unique experience at La Boug BCS to your itinerary. They truly offer a platform for creating memorable experiences within a welcoming community atmosphere.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

Pay attention or you might just miss it, but how can you honestly miss this building with the beautiful Bougainvillea mural on the bulding and entrance sign of the establishment. Upon entering, felt like I was almost tranported to a other location because of all of the decorations/decor/music. All of that made me just want to sit down and relax, but once I saw the menu, it got my full undivded attention.
Service:
Service was beyond exceptional, from being greeted by Isabel and answering all of the questions I had, to even recommending some of the dishes and her personal favorites. After I ordered, I found a seat and enjoyed the ambiance of the decor and music while awaiting my order. Once I received my order, the head chef came over and presented his meals and even talked about them.
Quality:
Where do I begin, first of all I ordered a Pizza Tequeño (ham and pepperoni), Shredded Beef Arepas (Mechada), and a Tres Leches Cheesecake. Each of the dishes had their unique flavor profile. The pizza Tequeño packed so much flavor in such a small dish, only mistake i made was ordering only one, should have done the 5 pack. The Mechada Arepas had an abundance of a locally sourced cheese which combined with the seasoned beef made it taste amazing. The chef also brought like what tasted like a creamy cilantro hot sauce which was a great addition. Finally for dessert, was a good size portion of a Tres Leches Cheesecake which i have never tried before. Isabel made sure to get one from the back as opposed to the one presented which felt was a great nod to customer service. The blend of both cheesecake and tres leches was great and I believe I found my favorite dessert in the BCS area. Finally the chef was making some Cachapas and let me have one so that I could try it. The Cachapa (Sweet Corn Pancake) had some cheese in the middle and surrounded with the Sweet Corn pancake which was a great combination in which it complimented the cheese. I was also shown a picture of one of their Venezuelan Burger and I can’t wait to go back!!

What to choose!? Tequeno, Cachapa,Arepas…although all amazing and highly recommend them all, the Tres Leches Cheesecake did it for me , although I am pretty biased on some great Tres Leches. The combination of a cheescake and tres leches is definitely unique and wont be the last time I order it.
The empanadas had a lot of filling and the tequeños were so soft and flavorful.
