Visiting from Pennsylvania for my granddaughter’s soccer tournament, my daughter who is a Florida resident brought the family here for dinner. What an awesome place! It feels like you stepped out of the parking lot and onto a little tropical island. Everything is done right. The atmosphere is upbeat and carefree, the vibe- so chill. Situated waterside, it provides the perfect backdrop for the restaurant and Tiki bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating ( I highly recommend the outdoor seating) live music, corn- hole, a fire pit, clean white sand, even a pier for boats to pull up to. The food was great, and the service friendly and attentive, yet laid back, we didn’t feel rushed, or pressure to hurry at all. Perfect for relaxing, or celebrating. A great spot for couples, groups, and families! We enjoyed this place so much! Thank you for a very memorable experience!

Very nice outdoors place don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think I’ll ever return to whiskey Joe’s as there’s much better water places in the area that are cheaper or provide more value. The portion sizes are incredibly small for these prices and it took them almost 20 minutes to make a brownie sundae which is ridiculous, Shulas steakhouse Orlando is the only other restaurant that ever took that long on my dessert and they made you order it with dinner and that’s high end stuff. Food is alright but a little bit spicy, but I’ve definitely had a better meal and bigger portions for the same price per person a few miles down the road at pier 22. Even our server said the prices were getting high, she even stated they tripled since 5 years ago, only prices that I’ve seen before is the calamari in higher end restaurants in NY which wasn’t outrageous but not ideal. Overall if the staff aren’t being heard which shows with them being understaffed, and I’m being provided an experience like I was provided tonight I don’t think I’ll keep giving them my business. They used to be decent and provide value but not anymore, very unlikely I’ll dine at this franchise again. 120$ for two people I can go to a high end Italian place and that’s in NY!!!!

Whiskey Joe’s Manatee River is an absolute must. The setting alone is incredible… this place literally sits on the beach. You can dine right on the sand, on their massive deck, or inside… and even if you’re not eating, you can lounge on the beach and enjoy the tiki bar. They had live music when we were there, which just added to the whole vibe.
As great as the location is, the food absolutely holds its own. I had the coconut-crusted snapper and it may have been one of the best snappers I’ve ever had. We also shared the crab dip… and coming from a Marylander, that’s saying something. It definitely stacks up to crab dips back home.
Service was excellent and everyone was genuinely friendly. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular without question. Highly recommend.

I general it was ok. Service was attentive and friendly.
The Mrs enjoyed her Cobb salad and my nachos were simply not too good. I felt they were light on the toppings.
It is certainly a comfortable and interesting environment.

We had the blackened mahi fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. The fish tacos were to die for and the pineapple salsa and plantains were out of this world.
The shrimp tacos needed the shrimp to be more costed in the delicious firecracker sauce and I would definitely substitute the chips and salsa next time.
Overall a great experience and service was super quick.

We went here for my grandmother’s birthday last night, first time here for all of us and it was great! Food was amazing, drinks were perfect and our server Rachel was awesome. She helped make it an amazing birthday dinner for our grandmother. Its a great place for family meals or even romantic date nights. We will absolutely be back. Make sure you make a reservation. We came on a Monday night and they were slammed, luckily our reservation got us in immediately! Highly recommend Whiskey Joe’s, beautiful views and relaxed environment. Good selection of foods, something for everyone.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and food, service was quicker than I expected (going by the reviews I’ve seen)portion size pretty decent I ordered the crab and shrimp dip it was good and they filled it to the brim in the dish it came in so much that I ran out of bread ☺️ I wanted oysters but they were out I came around 1:30 I ordered fish and chips I was pretty full I took the rest to go the food was pretty good but I will say it’s a bit pricey I spent $60 just for myself for an appetizer drink and entree
