Had lunch here today. Place looks clean and service was very excellent. Had lunch specials. Food was good. Would eat here again. Only real complaint is that the cushions on the bench seats was well worn and does not offer much support while seating

Habanero’s is awesome! It’s unbelievable how good their chips and salsa are – We kept getting refill after refill. The quality of a restaurant’s chips and salsa is a good indicator of overall food quality and Habanero’s reinforced my opinion on that. I ordered lunch combo “uno” and it was superb. I hadn’t tried the chile poblano before and it was actually really tasty. The atmosphere is nice and the service was pleasant as well. If you’re in McCaysville/Copperhill, definitely stop by.

Come to Habaneros if you are looking for delicious food and great service. This restaurant is family run and it shows in the care and service they provide. The prices are amazing and the portions are super filling. Great value!

Delicious food, excellent service! This is a great choice if you’re riding the Railway as they have a large dining area and fast service. Their verde sauce is very tasty. Chips and salsa were great too!

I asked for rare steak for my fajitas and I do not idea what type of meat it was but it had no flavor. The peppers and onions were overcooked. I rarely go out to eat and I took out a friend. Very disappointed. We should have gone to the other Mexican restaurant in town.

Delicious and authentic food! The quality of the food was amazing, and the prices were surprisingly low since all the restaurants in the area are priced much higher. The service was fantastic and the order came out quickly. We will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

Habanero’s Fresh Tex Mex – A Hidden Treasure That Stirred My Soul
Somewhere between Georgia and Tennessee, in the middle of nowhere, I found something sacred: a plate that tasted like memory, warmth, and legacy.
I ordered the steak a la mexicana, and what arrived wasn’t just food—it was a miracle. The tomato, the chili, the beans… every bite brought me back to snowy valleys in Ellensburg, Washington. To chilaquiles in Sunnyside. To the hands of my ancestors who knew how to cook with soul.
The steak was tender, kissed by its own oil—not too much, just enough to say, “I was made with care.” The salsa was spicy in all the right ways. And the tortillas—yellow, honest, and straight from Del Milagro in Chicago—wrapped it all up like a warm embrace from the past.
I’m deeply grateful to the universe for guiding me here. This place doesn’t just serve food—it delivers memory, comfort, and a flavor that hits you right in the spirit. I give it six stars. Not for perfection, but for truth.
Thank you, Habanero’s… for reminding me who I am

We came in here today for lunch. It was very quiet, as there was no train in town, excellent service, great lunch specials and wonderful food. Staff is always very friendly in the restaurant is always extremely clean. We came in for dinner last week and it was pretty much the same…. Excellent!!!

We were early for a lunch.
The food came quick and was good, our server was as you would expect polite , quick and with service in mind.
It wasn’t busy but when all other staff pays more attention to there phones watching tiktok movies or Instagram it doesn’t give the business a good vibe when it is openly done.
But then again no complaints about the food
