We have a family member that has been in AMC for 6 weeks now. The ONLY good thing to come of that situation is that it has allowed us to try different pizza places in the down town Albany area close to the hospital. A good friend that lives in Albany told us to stop here………..glad we did. Went at noon on a Saturday when they were first opening up. Ordered a large pie wanting to make sure we had left overs for the evening. Plentiful toppings, tasty sauce, thin crust….excellent! Also purchased two extra slices to sample later in the day. Staff was very freindly and accommodating. Trust me, we know pizza……..my wife and I travel all over the area trying new pizzas…….a weekend tradition which began fifty years ago in 1976 during our college years. Will certainly return here when in Albany .

The food is always great and the staff are super friendly. They always have a nice variety of slices to go and their prices are reasonably low! This is my favorite pizza in the city and as close to NJ home taste as I have had since moving to NY 30 years ago.

We’ve gave Cusstos so many chances hoping they would get it right..a few years ago before the new location everything we ordered was pretty good. I don’t know if they have a new cook but the past orders the food has been horrible. We ordered a chicken cutlet sub today. The cheese is burnt black, the bread is over toasted and the chicken is over cooked. I would not recommend eating here. I don’t understand because they were once one of the best eateries locally; now the worst

Great pizza, especially their cartoonishly large ones. They feed my whole family and we have leftovers for just a little under 40 bucks. I hope they continue to be this good for a long time.

My boyfriend and I ordered from here on 11/3/25. They told him food would be ready in 30 mins, he waited an extra 20 mins upon arrival. We ordered 2 calzones and a salad. I ordered a mushroom and pepperoni calzone and when I got it, it was filled with cheese and PINEAPPLES. I was so disappointed because a few other people raved about this place. I’ve just come to terms, I’ll never get food like when I was living in NYC. This was NOT it.

Cusato’s has great pizza! The owners and employees are kind, professional and friendly. I love their pizza and always enjoy their garlic crust option. One of my daughters has celiac disease and we order Cusato’s Gluten Free pizza, (regularly) she hasn’t had a reaction from gluten. She’s highly sensitive to cross contamination and feels comfortable and confident she can enjoy their food which is reassuring as a parent with few celiac safe places to feed her. They also have beer on tap which is pretty rad for a local pizza shop. Our family really likes their food and give Cusato’s a solid 5 Stars and two thumbs up!

I moved to the area 3 years ago and have enjoyed their food ever since. I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but I look forward to it. Everything I’ve tried I’ve loved, and the service and atmosphere are quite nice. The staff are all extremely friendly and very helpful. The food is always great.

I absolutely love Cusato’s! The pizza is straight-up NYC style—crispy, chewy, and loaded with fresh ingredients. I’m also a big fan of their pastas; they’re always so flavorful and comforting. My husband picks up from here all the time, and the quality has been consistently amazing for years. The best part? The prices haven’t gone up at all, which is pretty rare these days! Plus, the staff are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. If you’re in Albany and haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out. It’s a hidden gem!

a large pizza and 20 boneless wings cost $46…a lil pricey – well everything is pricey, i guess. The wings could be more saucy and ive had better pizza before…probably wnt order pizza from here again. The chicken parm is good though – but get it when its the weekly special.
