I too was happy with my burger, very tasty, but the hand cut fries are terrible. They are limp and soggy, no crispness to them at all. I have tried them 3 or 4 times now; from now on I will ask to have them replaced with an other item. Too bad cause I like fires with my burger.

My wife and I, and two friends, visited Beverly Bistro on the evening of Tuesday, July 14th. We ordered a pretty tasty (and delightfully goopy) crab-cheese-toasted bread appetizer to share, a hamburger, and three orders of baby-back ribs. The burger was cooked accurately, and tasty. The ribs were tough, “old”-tasting, and way too smoky to be pleasant. The sides of French fries were apparently baked, and were soggy and relatively tasteless. The baked beans, made with dried beans from scratch, hadn’t soaked sufficiently and were kraft-paper dry, despite a fairly decent sauce. The mac n’ cheese must have been left in the oven overnight; they were dry and unpleasantly crunchy, with minimal cheese taste. Throughout, our waitress (sorry, female server) kept putting things in front of the wrong people, including two water-glass refills–one of which had a straw in it and the other didn’t, and she still couldn’t get this right; yet every other sentence from her was, annoyingly despite her smiles, “No problem.” In all, not an experience that’s going to have us hurrying back. Pity. It looked really promising…till the food arrived.
