Wanted to try something new, they have them all over maine so he has never been to one, I have. We started with the soft pretzels with cheese sauce and they were hot and yummy. I got the French onion soup and house salad. Soup was salty but I like it that way. He got the chicken Mac n cheese, it was good, he got the light and was full so we could only imagine how big the large was. Our server Maddison was pleseant and attentive without being overbearing. Overall we would come back again.

Absolute worst service I have ever had. Took me and my husband over two hours here due to service. Appetizers (potato skins) came out burnt to a crisp, asked to have it remade and server was gone for over 20 minutes. Had to ask host for silverware, had to go to the bar to ask for my drinks that had been sitting for over 10 minutes. Manager brought our food out and asked what we needed.. didn’t even bring me the things we asked for. Why bother to even ask. Bartender was rude and does not care about her job at all. The place was a complete mess no tables being cleaned bar was gross and full of dishes. At the end had to ask the host again for a box and she decided to argue with me instead of just simply handing me a box. Trying to pay our bill took another 15 minutes. Needless to say we will not be back and this place is a joke. Side note there was about 7 tables in the entire place so it’s not like they were slammed.

We have given Ground Round a few chances this past year, and disappoints every single time. For starters this last visit, the service was poor. Waited far to long to be sat, took too long for the waitress to tend to us (there were only 2 tables, us and another by the way), and the food was awful; very poor quality and SO overpriced! Kids mini Cheeseburgers were burnt to a crisp, my salad was nothing you couldn’t whip up quickly at home with lightly warmed, frozen chicken tenders on top. The brat burger special came out very overcooked. The atmosphere is poor- dirty looking/feeling. The hostess was bent over on her phone when we left with no acknowledgement. Years ago this was an okay place to go, not so much anymore.

Woof. Pretty pricey food for the quality and taste. I wasn’t a fan of anything but the cheese curds. For a scoop of curds being almost $12, though? Nope. Gave it a shot and won’t be coming back.

This place was absolutely disgusting. I went here with my parents for lunch and quickly regret it. We waited over an hour for cold food, my shrimp was awful no flavor tasted like they unthawed it cooked it and sat it out to cool for 45 minutes, my steak was ordered medium rare and when I received it, it definitely wasn’t medium rare try more like a hockey puck hard and cold, my fries were decent still not worth $35 and surely not worth waiting an hour for. My mother had ordered the same thing as me and also felt as if her meal was HORRIBLE. We weren’t rude or anything but I will not go back.

Tried ordering one pizza, it was out of stock, so we settled with a different kind and regretted it. Tastes like frozen store bought dough. They only partially cut the pizza so we struggled to grab pieces without ripping them. Very disappointed.

For the most part it was pretty good! Brings back a lot of memories when they use to exist on the East Coast. Funny to get popcorn brought to the table still.

Went to lunch on a Saturday, it was dead in there. Took awhile for the server to come over which was fine. The food was atrocious. My daughter ordered pizza, took one bite and said it was gross. I tried it and agreed so she didn’t eat. I ordered a salad which was basically semi-brown and white lettuce with a soggy chicken strip on top. Didn’t finish that. Our drinks were gross. My mom left most of her Bloody Mary and I choked mine down but was not good – at all. Kids meals were $7 plus $2 for a beverage. I’ve never seen somewhere charge $9 for a kids meal. Our tab for two adults and three kids was $90 and we all left most of our meals behind.
