Agave’s Mexican Restaurant is always a good choice and this visit was especially great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Everything tasted really good and was exactly what we were in the mood for. The service was great and our server was amazing. They were super friendly, checked on us often, and made sure we had everything we needed without rushing us. Drinks were always refilled and the whole experience felt easy and relaxed.
Overall it was a really good experience with great food and great service. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to and recommending to others.

Agaves is as authentic as it gets for a large scale Mexican restaurant. It is my girlfriend’s favorite place so we go there a lot. She loves the chips and queso along with the Chuy’s special. Personally my favorite dish is the Alambres! It has a wonderful atmosphere and the service is great!
P.S Request Fernando as your server he is the best!

We recently visited Agave’s and were impressed by its authentic New Mexican cuisine that just opened in the neighborhood, reminiscent of our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Midwestern. The spacious layout, featuring large tables and an outdoor patio, makes it ideal for group gatherings, and the pet-friendly environment (on the patio only) is a definite plus. A welcome touch was the complimentary chips and salsa, with refills offered. My fiancé enjoyed the chimichanga combination with a side of chorizo, while I opted for the two tacos and enchilada with rice combo. Although margaritas were unavailable due to licensing at the time of our visit on June 26th, they offered beer and non-alcoholic Corona. The excellent service, especially from our humorous and attentive server Fernando, ensures that Agave’s will become a regular neighborhood spot for us, given its convenient walking distance. Highly recommended.

So thrilled Agave opened here. What a neighborhood gem.
Have already been 3 times.
Extensive menu and food is fresh and delicious. The guacamole Casero is excellent (essentially pico de gallo with fresh diced avocado). Enchiladas Suiza is one of my favorite dishes and theirs is on point.
Great service from a warm, professional, team. Hospitality is everything.

Nashville Mexican food is mostly insulting trash but this was a stark exception. I had the spicy molcajete and it was one of the better meals I have had in a long time in Nashville. Very spicy so not for faint of heart but I think they said the other 2 sauces are mild.

I was SO blown away by this place that after I had it for dinner last night, I had to come back again for lunch today. The food is amazing. Excited to try margaritas there soon! While having lunch today, it was announced their liquor license is available starting 7/3.

We’ve been eating at Agave for many years. While I enjoyed the previous location in Belle Meade Plaza. I’m really pleased with the atmosphere in the new location! The staff are fantastic and always friendly! The food is great, and I’ll continue to drive the extra miles to get to their new location.

I used to live this place at the previous location and I visited it every time I came to Nashville. I was happy to find the new location. When I went there I was a little bit disappointed. I found it had lost some of its charm. The food was not as good. Staff is still friendly.
