I am familiar with the Inoko’s Athens location, and thought to try the one here in Roswell, excited for some nastalga. However, I was sadly left disappointed. They are not the same. No free miso soup/ onion soup or ginger salad offered with your meal and drink is not inculded. $4.00 for a fountain drink that has no syrup mixed in with the selzer/ carbonated water (tried coke/ fanta). The can/ glass and plastic bottled drinks were cheaper and guaranteed to actually taste good. Quality of food was not as good either. I got a chicken + steak hibachi. The chicken part of the hibachi was a decent 6/10, however the Steak tasted old and there wasnt that much! They charge $8 for just chicken hibachi and $16 for both chicken and steak. I get inflation and all, but for the amount of steak I got, it was sad and not worth 8- 9 dollars. The yum yum sauce is also different, most likely premade. Aside from the food, the place looks nice inside, but I know theres other places that have better quality for the same price. If you do come, get the chicken entrees and ask for bottled drinks!

The one thing I would say thats good food wise is that the rice is of a good quality like from an asian grocery store- though it could use more seasoning/ sauce options ( more teriyaki/ better yum yum/ some eel sauce).

Lovely place. Wifey found about this restaurant and it had great reviews so we checked it out for lunch. Parking lot is quite busy but we managed to find a spot. Place is nice and clean cozy as well. The service was great. They are super friendly, checked on the wifey and brought bags for our take out. The food is great. Well cooked, lots of flavor. The scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Juicy and tender. Beef had great flavor. Everything was great. Wish we lived closer!

I’ve been meaning to try this place since it opened, so glad I did today. Food was amazing. Service was so phenomenal. Cheap, filling and huge portions. I ate until I was full and half like two meals of leftovers.

I got the bulgogi MIX WITH THE YUM YUM SAUCE ohmygodddd

As someone who grew up near an inokos, inokos is MY childhood. It was my favorite place to go throughout my childhood and teen years I even had it as an adult and it’s still a forever fav of mine. I grew up near the Athens location (where I’m from) and have moved around quite a lot since then and missed inokos and couldn’t really get it unless I drove a long distance (it’s worth it but at the same time I had wished there were one near me) so when I noticed I lived nearby one (this location in particular) i had to have it immediately!! They STILL have the same taste, flavor and excellent service at excellent prices as the one I grew up near. I even noticed they have MORE items to the menu which means more delicious foods to try! ! I’m SO over the moon by how good it is and how nostalgic it is for me. The staff were so nice, the food came out quick and the overall atmosphere and quality are amazing. You cannot beat the prices compared to a lot of hibachi places nowadays and have excellent taste and quality like inokos does. It really makes me so so so happy to live near this place it truly makes my childhood self completed! I hope one day, inokos opens even more restaurants because EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY THIS WONDERFUL FOOD! ♥️♥️♥️♥️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Sad update January 2026. The ownership has changed, and so has the quality of food. It now ranks among the ‘other’ wings and food place.

What made this a 5 star place has gone.
The new owner has kept the menu to some extent – but the recipes are cheap. There is nothing special about it -at least one of the dishes that made them stand out has gone -incredible wings, radish, replaced with ‘standard’ wings and fries. Quality and taste of the fried rice has gone too. If you buy a successful restaurant don’t cheapen the food!

Food rating down to 2 stars – the lovely lady behind the counter has stayed. We used to there especially for the wings – Inoko Wings were actually our comfort food.

I’m so disappointed. No longer our regular place.

Previous review:

We went here for a quick dinner because of the reviews – and when we received our food could tell why it’s rated so highly.

The food was delicious – and the Korean wings were the best deep fried wings I have had – hands down.

Friendly service, 100% clean environment, food to die for… we just moved walking distance away, so this will become our regular.

I grabbed a late lunch here on a Saturday.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was clean and tidy.
The staff were polite, prompt, and helpful.
My prior point of reference for an Inoko Express is an Athens, GA location circa 2015. The food’s not exactly the same, but the spirit’s still there and I enjoyed my meal.
