Dash Cafe is the latest iteration of an eatery inside Hoosier Parks Casino in Anderson. The latest but certainly not the greatest.
My mother had the chicken salad and was not favorably impressed. Very pricey, low quality. I got the corn and shrimp soup. Similarly underwhelming although I filled up on crackers which softened the blow a bit. They still have free beverages, for now, so at least that saved a bit of money, but overall
-high prices
-tiny portions
-low quality
-poor taste
Free drinks got them to two stars.
The service was irredeemable, however. I get that you are not excited to be working at the Dash Cafe for minimum wages but I found the service atrocious. Service without a smile.
To be fair, the dining area has been upgraded with views of the race track. Any kind of view of the outdoors in a casino is a rare blessing and, furthermore, the dining area is spacious and uncrowded. If there was just something worth eating there….

This is a dining experience that is better avoided. Time your visit out to avoid mealtimes or make do with some snacks items from the vending machine next to the Dash Cafe “place your order” counter.

If I could leave zero I would! Food is great but lady behind counter is mean as heck! My mom has diabetes and her hotdog was ready sitting behind counter getting cold while my sandwich was still being made! My mom asked if she could go ahead and take hotdog she was diabetic and lady snared at her said no I have to wait till whole order is done!

The menu is junk. It is so far from what you’d expect from a casino you’d do better at the worst fast food joint you could find. Eat before you go or pay a high price for junk.
