If you’re in a hurry and want fast Mexican food, this is a great stop.
I ordered their sampler and for a to go order it was delicious. Solid flavors and cooked perfectly. Overall and fast to order and get if you’re in a hurry.
I’d definitely come back here again to get other menu items.

This place is great and something I’ve been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn’t finally.
I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.
There’s some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.
I’d come back here to try their breakfast/chorizo items

If you need quick Mexican food, this is a great spot.
I got the sampler to go, and it was really tasty—well cooked with good flavors. Ordering was fast, perfect if you’re in a hurry.

Wasn’t my favorite stop. The asada Al carbon taco was very dry and 20% gristle. Very small portion as well. The beef and potato guisado was a bit better but nothing special to me. At lunchtime a lot of the guidados especially the egg ones didn’t look great in their holding bins. $3.25 for their plain taco should be better.

The tortillas de harina are very good! We live in Norcal so going all the way into Mexicali isn’t always so easy. This place scratches that itch!!
