Just do yourself a favor and just go across the street, this restaurant seems to be only open by the grace of the tourist and first time visitors because I doubt any locals would have any favorite dishes..
We ordered a beet salad, the beets were from a can.
$12 cheddar and bacon fries were all toasted, the bacon was non existing And the cheddar was only a few tiny strings and it took them nearly 30 minutes for them to be served.
The burger was good but mediocre at best nothing to go back to.
Floor was dirty, the bathroom floors were sticky.

We stopped in at the Dock Bar & Eatery for lunch after a walk on the beach today. The staff is super friendly and did a great job welcoming us in. I had their crab cakes and these were the best ones that I have ever had. Their fish and chips were great with a tasty beer batter breading on delicious hunks of cod. I have already recommended them to friends in the area and will definitely be returning.

What a find! Absolutely delicious food with excellent and friendly service. The Poboys here are fantastic! Especially the oyster poboy! Seriously amazing! I’ve had poboys all over Louisiana and I would put this one up to those any day! Good beer selection and the onion rings were excellent too. I will be back!

Went on a date with someone to The Dock, waited quite a while to be seated even though many seats were available. Finally was told to pick any seat available (which seemed to negate any reason for us standing there for so long waiting to be seated). We went to our table noticed it was sticky and when the Waitress came we mentioned it and she took care of it with a rag but for some reason it was still sticky afterwards but we just left it alone after that. We ordered drinks. I got an Arnold Palmer, my date had a Pepsi or Coke. I took a sip out my drink and was instantly taken aback because apparently their Arnold Palmers are made with Unsweetened Tea. I’m from Virginia and its always been made with Sweet Tea (unless Unsweetened is specifically asked for) but maybe its different here. No problem, i mention it and the waitress asks if i want “sweetener syrup” which through me off at first but i say “sure” to which she leaves but takes a while to get back to the table so i end up going to the bar area to just ask for just regular lemonade. She tried to sell me on the sweetener thing again for a min but i declined and she eventually obliged and got me a lemonade. After returning to my seat with my date we check out the menu. They have a really nice selection of different foods to try that sound delicious. However, one thing we noticed was that their Appetizers, were practically the same price as their Entreè meals. If im not mistaken i think the spinach artichoke dip and chips (which we contemplated getting was the same as a 2pc Fish (cod) and chips at $16. Just seemed odd to us but maybe thats just us. We declined appetizers and elected to just order our meals. I got the 3pc fish and chips ($20) and my date got the Black N Blue Burger with Fries. Food seemed to take a little longer than most places to arrive but alas it does and i notice im missing one piece of my fish and chips. The waitress acknowledges the mess up and goes to fix the error. She brings me the last fish piece a little while later on a separate dish while im eating and the error is corrected. Now on to the food. Fries were good. Perhaps a tad too greasy but overall like a 6/10. Still flavorful and crispy though. My dates Burger was GOOOOD! I give that like 9/10. Very juicy. I dont remember what all ingrediants were on it but i highly recommend trying it. My fish was fairly good as it was deep fried to a perfect golden crisp. Only thing is that it was really bland. Tasted like no seasonings were used. However, they have a house Tarter sauce that im just gonna give the 10/10 bc WOW! While i grew up in Virginia, my roots and family are Northeast (Boston) and i can honestly say the Dock has the best Tarter sauce i’ve ever tasted. Hands down. So dipping the bland fish in the House Tarter made the fish REALLY good (go figure). Lastly, we are winding down from our meals and notice our waitress is one table over having a friendly conversation with some patrons (im assuming they were probably her friends from the type of conversation). We finish our meal and notice the waitress still talking one table over but no worries we are full and letting our food digest a little so no big deal. We chat about our meals and our plans for the rest of the evening for a bit but notice the waitress still chatting with the Patrons one table over and so i finally just raise my hand to get her attn and she comes and asks if we are ready for the check which we were. We pay and leave and that was the end. Gave “food” 4 stars, Service 1, and Atmosphere 3 (forgot to mention we were slightly getting rained on since the overhead windows were open. Honestly i dont want that as a knock tho bc the random breeze felt pretty nice as well so i will change to 4 stars. Overall it gets 3 stars from me. I’d probably return and/or recommend them since it was only one experience.

Good, diverse menu and drink options. This is an open-air restaurant right along the Port Orchard waterfront. It stays busy but tables can be gotten even on weekends with a little luck. They’ll have sports up on the TVs and cold beers at the bar.

Great place! You wouldn’t think it’s a restaurant/pub from the outside but it is!–it’s an open layout. Right near the water. They have gluten friendly options (including buns!), which I appreciate. The menu recently changed but the food is still great with lots of options. Our waitress Latisha was amazing. She made me a honey huckleberry Paloma and it was one of the best drinks I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back!

The dock has an amazingly friendly and efficient staff. The artichoke dip and the tacos AND the chicken wings are legendary. All the good beers on tap. One of the best places to grab a bite and a drink in Port Orchard. Owners are also very involved in making Port Orchard an even more wonderful place.

Good Service, very clean and easy to get to.
The Southwest salad had all fresh ingredients: chicken, avacado, very good dressing. Chicken cooked perfect.
Seafood Chowder was filled with fresh meat chunks and very creamy base. Very good
Fish and chips: Fresh French fries were great, fish was really good, moist and cooked just right.
One of the best places we have encountered in Port Orchard.
