The rolls are made very conservative. The size and amount of fish is minimal, but considering the price, at least its not a rip off.
My kid complained that the caterpillar roll was basically an avocado roll cause she couldn’t taste or see the eel. The sunset roll was so plain and disappointing. The kimchi gyoza looked nothing like the picture on the menu and they might as well have been regular gyoza, there was no hint of kimchi. The worst roll was the crazy cajun.
I rather they charge $20 per roll and make it big enough to be filling tasty roll, rather than $15 and have me walking out thinking of getting food somewhere else. I dont know if the staff making the rolls were new & training or if they’ve been instructed to create the rolls so small with thin pieces of fish, but I recognized a single chef from last time I was here in December.
They have signs advertising 50% off and when I asked which rolls were part of the special, I was directed to a couple pages that showed the price being $39.99 with a red strike through and the “sale” price in black. I was told the 50% off was already built into the price of each roll. If the “regular” and the “sale” price are permanently on your laminated menu, then those are the permanent prices. Dont treat me like I’m stupid with a fake 50% off.
Service was the only upside to this visit. They were courteous and quick. If I asked for extra siracha or wasabi, they were on it. Our server was checking up on us but not too much to feel harassed. At some point our server was leaving and she let us know we would be served by someone else.
Everything I ordered was delicious—from the sushi to the chicken teriyaki and the fries to the gyoza.
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the cozy atmosphere and interior made the experience even better.
They have everyday %50 of the menu deal on their amazing delicious sushi rolls, you definitely need to try that
My top 3 rolls that I always recommend are the Lost at Sea, Spicy Albacore, and the Dragon Roll. And with their 50% off rolls, it makes everything super affordable. Definitely one of my go-to sushi spots! ✨
Can confirm, this place didn’t disappoint. Sushi rolls were tight, uniform, and didn’t skimp on the good stuff. Service was fast- lightning fast. Front counter was friendly, helpful, and genuinely appeared to enjoy what they do.
Price was fair. Haven’t done dine in yet, but given that we’ve done pick up a number of times now, the atmosphere always looks good. It’s clean, right amount of light, and doesn’t appear to suffer under long wait times.
Will report back once we dine in someday.
This is hands down the worst food I’ve had. I ordered the Bulogi fries and it looked NOTHING like the picture online. Its was a mess in a Styrofoam container. Hardly any fries or meat. No flavor, and cold. Put it this way….McDonald’s would have been a huge upgrade. Smh….
I had to ask FIVE times to speak to a manager, Sean, because he refused to walk a few steps from his station, even though he was not busy. I was repeatedly told it was “not his policy” to talk to customers. That alone was wild.
When he finally came over, I explained I have a crab allergy and asked if the crab sushi in my bento box could be replaced. He flat out refused to work with me and told me to order something else off the menu instead. The problem is that bento boxes are basically the only lunch options. There was zero effort to accommodate a legitimate allergy.
The manager was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. No empathy. No flexibility. No basic customer service skills.
The frustrating part is that the food here is actually very good. But this experience reminded me exactly why I stopped coming to this location months ago. The service consistently sucks, and it starts with stubborn, unfriendly management that clearly does not belong in the service industry.
Good food is not enough when management has a bad attitude and ruins the entire experience every single time. I will not be back.
