We ordered two dishes, spicy basil beef & chicken coconut soup. The beef was the worst quality possible, nothing but gristle, couldn’t eat 90% of it.
The flavor of the soup was good, but it was chock full of bamboo husks, making it difficult to enjoy.
The first time we ate here things were quite nice, so I don’t know what happened this time.
Unlikely to return.

I used to come here once upon a time when it was called the Thai Room. It’s definitely changed and is obviously under new/different management but besides all that, the food is still on point. I recommend the chicken yellow curry. A personal fave of mine. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who’s never had Thai food or for anyone craving fire Thai food

My intention was to visit a different business today. I’m really glad that didn’t work out for me. Instead, I found myself at Ruan Thai and they have definitely made a fan out of me. I ordered a spring roll, Thai iced tea with boba and a yellow curry with shrimp. Everything was DELICIOUS! My server, Chase was so kind and attentive and even a little funny. I felt like I was at someone’s home who cared for their guests instead of a small restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves good food! It would be a cute date night or casual hang with friends for dinner.

It tastes very much like another Chinese owned Thai place which is basically Chinese trying to offer Thai cuisines with wrong cooking. The flavors and ingredients were all off, the pad woon sen had different noodles and herbs & spices and the pad thai was watered down and very wet. Tasted like someone trying to make Thai food for the first time. Was my first time ordering and thought I’d give a new place a chance but was severely disappointed.

Delicious. Surprised us with detail, flavor mixes and size was huge portions. Crab rice was melt in your mouth, the peanut sauce on the spring rolls was unique and refreshing. Excellent experience. Come eat here!

Placed an order for pick up, the Glass noodle salad, Pineapple Fried Rice & Orange chicken. Paid over $60 with tip to only get 4 shrimp. 2 with the rice & 2 with the noodles. When I called, the young lady who answered said the rice should have came with 5 pieces of shrimp. She put me on hold to ask the chef & they said it’s to come with 2 pieces of shrimp. This place is a rip off. Far too many other places in town with better quality of food. The prices are outrageous for the amount per order. I miss when this was Thai Room.

Ordered the yellow curry (amazing!), rangoons, and the pad Thai to go. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Gave 4 stars for the food because the pad Thai was really dry. The other items were really good. I would come back definitely. They do not serve beer or wine.

Hidden Gem! Excellent food. Amazing service! We had the spicy basil fried rice, pineapple chicken fried rice and chicken pad thai, every order was amazing! They even let you decide your level of spicy. Definitely returning!

I decided to venture off the Strip looking for Thai food and chose Ruan Thai based on the good rating.
So glad I did because my shrimp pad se ew was DELICIOUS! The shrimp was plentiful with about 8-10 pieces. The sauce was just how I like it…the slightest bit of sweetness to give it some dimension. After overspending on meals on the strip, it was nice to have a great meal for less than $20.

First time being back since the change of ownership, got the pangnang curry, Rangoons, spring rolls, and mango sticky rice.
The new interior is very pretty and open, and the food was very delicious and prices are fair. Chase, our waiter was an absolute sweetheart and had the vibes of the place light and fun.
I really recommend this place, and will hopefully be back with other friends and family.
