As soon as you walk through our doors, you’ll understand that we’re not your average sports bar. We take pride in serving a wide range of customers. Since we opened, our focus has been on SEC sports and ensuring we have enough TVs for guests to watch their favorite college teams. First time dining at Capitol Grill. I have heard great things, so we wanted to give it a try. We ordered the Alligater Jalapeño Bites and did not like them at all. I usually like gator, but this was just not enjoyable, at least for me and my wife. Our main course we ordered the ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, and a side salad. Side salad was great. It was on spring mix and our server gave us options to customize our salad aside from how it is normally fixed. The steak looked good, but was considerably thin for a 12 oz ribeye. Being that thin caused problems with proper cook temperature throughout the steak, but the it still tasted fine. Not in my top 10 of steaks, but definitely not the worst I have had. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. All in all, we enjoyed our visit. The server was excellent and took great care of us. We will return but try other food items next time.

Great bar to go too. Service was great and staff is friendly. I ordered the deep fried mushrooms and capital grill pizza. Everything tasted delicious and was fresh. Portion sizes are great for the price. Soft drink selection is a bit weak. The place was fairly clean and not too busy on Sundays.

This place is so much fun… the service at the bar was so awesome the two young ladies at the bar recommended me to a safe hotel they were so worried to make sure I was safe.. those are the best bartender ever.. and they work very efficiently.. Thank you for a great time.. I recommend this location.. Dallas Tx traveler.

Great onion rings. Fried and grilled shrimp were great. The only issue we had was the kids burger came to the table about 10 mins after my wife and I had our food. Just need to time the kitchen a little better.

Nice spot on Old Canton Rd near I55 N Frontage Rd, same block as Planet Fitness. First time visiting. It was cozy and much larger than it appears from the outside. It was clean and the food was good, esp the sweet potato fries. I had Catfish PoBoy, hubby had Catfish & Fries, Daughter had Chicken Tenders and Son had a Chicken Bacon Sandwich w/Sweet Potato fries, which he said was delicious! It was still “happy hour” when we went, but absolutely no one was roudy or loud, just having a nice evening. There was a pool table in one corner where a group of men were playing maturely. I saw a sign that said Dart Room but forgot to ask waitress if there really was a Room or was the title up for Decor. I would have tried it. This was on a Monday. I think their hours are 2p-2a M-Th and 11a- 2a Fr-Sun.
I think we may try again another time as I try different places in my own backyard that I’ve never been to..
