AJ and Bob. The most hospitable duo I have ever met. My group came in when they decided to close early. Both of them had a heart of gold to open up THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT AGAIN JUST FOR THE FOUR OF US. The food, the service, the vibes were absolutely warm. They literally are so sweet and the food tasted home made and amazing. It was NOTHING that I can buy back home in Las Vegas. Bob made everything with his absolute love and you can taste it. If you’re looking to have an experience, please eat here. EVERYTHING will not disappoint. The decor I will say is every “western” influenced but it fits the vibe very well.

My friends and I decided to stop by for dinner before heading back home to Vegas after our adventure at the Hot Springs. We arrived around 8:30 pm to find out they had closed early for the evening. Bob was so nice and opened the restaurant back up for us for our own “private party”. Two of us ordered the buffalo burger while the other two ordered the Mark 1 sandwich. The buffalo burger was actually quite tasty and my friend said her Mark 1 sandwich was out of this world. I finished my dinner service with a peanut butter pie. Thanks Bob for the entertaining evening and providing us nourishment!

NEVER HAVE I EVER WALKED OUT OF A RESTAURANT BEFORE RECEIVING MY FOOD.

Let me start with the goods: Absolutely nothing about our experience besides an overly friendly server and ice cold water.

We showed about about 6 o clock and there was a group of employees all out front smoking and chatting. Proceed into the restaurant where we see a large ‘menu on wheels,’ which we were in the mood for burgers so we decided to sit down. One of the workers gives us a run down of the menu and we both order medium cook burgers. Mind you, we are the only patrons in the entire restaurant. Over the course of the next 35 minutes we watch this group of employees do everything, including helping a guy load a ton of clothes into a garbage bag less than ten feet from our table, but get our burgers made. After all this time with no update about our food I stand up to see if it was in the window or seemingly near completion to no luck on either. So we excused ourselves.

We got past the very weird entrance into the restaurant, our server talking about tilapia which wasn’t on the menu, the extremely unprofessional nature of everything from the time we walked in, and the SINGULAR MENU, with handwritten sheets of paper straight out of a kindergarten classroom. To be treated as if we weren’t hungry. Two burgers takes 10 minutes tops. This place was a ghost town. Will definitely not be back to give it a second shot after that nightmare of an experience that frankly scared my wife.

This place is about as mom and pop shop as it gets. Bob will greet you and walk you through the only menu they have but they’ll customize to your preference and keep it fun. We loved the banter and honesty behind the service.

The food was great and we had no complaints about anything. We ordered the yummy buffalo burger, grilled cheese sandwiches, awesome tomato soup, and some desserts. The lemon meringue pie was perfect and the vanilla bean ice cream was great.

Our only complaint was that we weren’t quite sure how our bill ended up $90 for a family of 3. The only prices posted were the buffalo burgers and we only had 1 drink. Either way, we were happy to support a local, family restaurant that had great food.

We passed by this place on our way to Zion and made a mental note to come back when they were open. My friend is always on the lookout for good buffalo burgers bc she’s allergic to beef.

It is definitely not what we expected for sure. It was such a fun and welcoming environment — very casual and relaxed, but not unprofessional. The staff was so enthusiastic about the food and their attitudes were contagious. Bob is such a character, and I mean that in the best way possible. Our waiter was so friendly and on top of things.

My friend had the buffalo burger and fries. She said it was probably just a smidge on the salty side, but very much enjoyed it. I had a bite and it was amazing! I had the sweet potato fries which were also amazing. We got a couple of pieces of pie (PB chocolate and the F’n brownie pie) to share and they were delicious — very sweet and rich so one slice is plenty!

I walked in uncertain of what to expect and walked out feeling like I’d been coming for years. Just excellent!

Came here on a recommendation from a friend a bit hesitant that they would be able to cook well for a vegetarian. Let me tell you, this place absolutely knocked my socks off. Bob himself was at the register and greeted my friend as if they were life long buddies. After a brief mention of being vegetarian, Bob told me all about their vegetarian and “veegan” options and knew his stuff. Both our burgers were divine and the pies were similarly fantastic. I also liked that Bob was the menu, despite it being new to me, and that he explained every dish in detail. Service was similarly well timed and our burgers came out in no time.

Absolutely fantabulous. They have a small workforce but was quality. My family of five had a stellar time with awesome kind staff. The food took some time to come out but with the short staff it was beyond. The food could take as much time as needed though. The burgers, ribeye sandwich, and spaghetti all surpassed expectations. The store connected to the restaurant was super cool to look at as well. Overall this restaurant is one I will go to everytime I’m in this area.

A Hidden Gem – A Must-Visit!

If you’re anywhere near Buffalo Trails and don’t stop in, you’re missing out on one of the best culinary experiences around! We found this spot toward the end of our week-long adventure out west, and let me tell you—after our first meal there, we had to go back the next open day. Yes, it was that good!

From the outside, Buffalo Trails might seem like just another unassuming spot, but the moment you step inside, you’re in for a treat. The service here is something special. The staff isn’t just there to take your order—they’re genuinely excited about the food, and their enthusiasm is contagious. Dining here was like a breath of fresh air, full of fun, laughter, and good vibes. It’s not often that you find a place where the service is as memorable as the food, but here, it’s a perfect match.

Now, onto the food! The burgers were out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and so satisfying. I’m still dreaming about them! And the desserts? Don’t even think about skipping them. Every single one was a masterpiece, from the rich zesty key lime pie to the soft creamy coconut and the perfectly tart cherry pies that captured the taste of summer.

But the dish that truly stole the show for me was the Hawaiian chicken pasta salad. It was fruity, fresh, and so unique that I immediately knew I had to figure out how to recreate it at home. The combination of flavors was unexpected and delightful, a true testament to the creativity in the kitchen.

In short, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We loved it so much that we squeezed in two visits before the end of our trip, and honestly, we would have gone back for a third if we had the time. This place set a new bar for dining experiences, and I can’t wait for the next time we find ourselves out west.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you eat here—it’s an absolute must!

Buffalo Bob’s is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. This place has fresh, homemade food. Real buffalo meat for the burgers and the twist on his Rosemary chicken is to die for! We have driven more then 30 minutes to visit Bob. He has an amazing personality and is funny and refreshing. We recommend stopping by to anyone we know going to St. George or surrounding areas.
