This Golden Corral is definitely one of the better ones. Love coming here. The food is hot and fresh. A big variety. The employees are friendly. I was getting some carved ham , wanted to give a compliment and asked if he was a manager. His research yes , im also the owner. A hands on owner, I give a lot of credit for that. So if you are in Erie , PA. and want to get a good meal and friendly on the wallet , come here.

I have been to the Golden Corral in Erie a few times now. I am usually there on a weekend at dinner time. My first observation is it is VERY busy. It can take 20 minutes to get seated. Despite this fact, once you are seated, service is consistently very good. Servers keep your drinks filled. Although, yes, there are a lot of people, the food on the buffet is fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Sirloin Steak, Fried Chicken, Butterfly Shrimp, and Clam Chowder Soup.

My family and myself ate at this Golden Corral twice while on trips to Presque Isle State Park and it was a hit every time. The food here is delicious. The buffet has a wide variety of items. I recommend the pot roast and the meatloaf. The prices here are reasonable. The waiters and waitresses are all very kind people. This is one of my favorite Golden Corral locations.

I love golden corral and my poor husband is constantly being dragged there by me but this past Sat 2/28 was a different story, first it was crazy busy when we first went at 3:50 pm so we left and we came back at 6 pm and it was still busy, we waited and and then we finally made it, the fries and onion rings tasted like lighter fluid or butane? Never experienced that before, wanted a baked potatoe which was empty all service till I was eating dessert, no hot fudge by the way, which keeps happening when I visit, a know how busy you get but things were not getting filled and I spent $40 dollars which accidently was rung up on two bills by mistake, maybe she heard one person??? Not sure but I could only scan one receipt for points. I really wish there could be some compensation for I eat there a lot and I am not joking!!! I know everyone can have a bad day but it was a little rough.

This visit was their Veterans’ free meal evening. Absolutely wonderful! Very busy, leading to being seated with other Vets and great conversations. The food and their many choices were excellent. I did pay for a visiting Vegan-Gluten free-Dairy free friend’s meal. He was delighted to have 2-3 plates of very satisfying choices.
I loved my steak! 🙂
Golden Corral deserves much appreciation and admiration for their generous(!) yearly support for us veterans!

I am a band director, and this past Friday we took our marching band, staff, and chaperones to this Golden Corral as part of a longer trip. We were very impressed! We had a reservation, and they had the perfect amount of space set aside for our group. The manager was very kind and informative. He and the staff made our group feel very welcome, and really put the kids in good spirits for the rest of the trip. There were plenty of food options, and everyone left full and happy. I definitely recommend this location!

Really enjoy coming here, it’s perfect when you aren’t sure what you want to eat. For $20 I definitely think it is worth it. I have seen some dirty dishes and that is off-putting. I know they must have to wash dishes constantly, I wish they would pay more attention. For example, I overturned a soup bowl which had dried hardened seemingly tomato soup or something on the inside.
Otherwise everything was good. My favorite thing was the steak and their potato salad. The hush puppies were not great this night but usually one of my favorites.
Their carrot cake and chocolate cake were also really good!
The waitress was super friendly and attentive and going above and beyond for people in our section, offering to grab butter or crackers for people I feel is not something they have to do so it was very kind of the lady to offer.
Definitely a favorite stop while in Erie. They don’t have these in NY.

The food is excellent and so is the service. The only problem I have is they should have a separate door for people that are only coming for takeout so they don’t have to fight through a line of people just to get to the takeout. Or else I would give that five stars.
