*** It truly was very delicious. Had a nice flavor, wasn’t to spicy, and I really enjoyed the dish.
I been trying to try this restaurant since it open, but always tried to go on Sunday when they are closed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I truly will eat there again. I am always looking for new places to try and new dishes.
Reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere, and they remolded it to be very elegant and classy.
The atmosphere was quaint, clean and cozy. Service was attentive, friendly and laid back. I could tell, it seemed like regulars came in while we were eating.
I cant wait to come back!
The garlic noodles with the abalone sauce is light and sweet and delicious. Would absolutely eat again. The fish soup feels like the perfect sick comfort food.
I encourage you to play with the vinegar, and sauces on the table!
I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes
The exterior of the restaurant makes you think that it’s a trendy, chain geared towards 20 year olds, but if you step inside, it actually feels family run and features a lot more ethnic decor and has a lot of tables to seat families vs small two person tables.
PHO – overall 7/10 – The beef pho was heavy on the meat, and noodles but surprisingly light on the broth. This is definitely a bit odd but I appreciate that it had a lot of protein compared to other pho I had. It had slices of beef as well as beef meatballs in it. Broth flavor was a solid 7/10 with more meatiness but not so much of that particular savoriness that I look for in pho. I’d eat it again as it is solid.
MIZO CHOKA SPECIAL – overall 8/10 – a noodle dish with the same type of noodles used in pho and a ton of savory flavor! It was served in a bean sauce with little bits of meat, that you would mix together well with the noodles. There was the option of pork or chicken for the meat, and we chose pork. You can also order the noodles with broth or dry. We chose dry and so broth came in a bowl on the side.
Service was good, a bit casual. We definitely took longer to figure out what we wanted as we were unfamiliar with a lot of the names of the dishes. More photos on the menu would have been helpful or descriptions underneath. We ended up pulling up the DoorDash of the restaurant on our phones to read descriptions on there —kind of funny to be honest. They checked if we were ready to order 3x before we were ready, about 5min apart. We were told we could grab what we wanted to drink from the fridge that was in the room.
VISITING AGAIN. I’m really curious about their breakfast menu! There is a distinct lack of places where you can get ASIAN BREAKFAST (baos, congee/porridge, etc) here in Indianapolis.
