I dont know how this place gets 5 stars? When I 1st arrived there was a man practicing his Spanish on the cashier showing her how to use google translate I guess & she was just smiling & being very friendly towards him but not acknowledging me, I had to speak up for myself after a few minutes & say hey sir I’m trying to order, 1st red flag! Then when we spoke she wasnt apologetic or polite she basically just had a dead stare like what did I want?? lol! They also had the special of the day written there but turns out it was from the day before & no 1 bothered to update it, redflag 2! Lol so NO I didn’t bother to order food after that even though the nice manager was going to honor what was written on there but so I just chose a drink instead & yea maybe their drinks are decent, I ordered a michelada it was yummy bcuz of the fruit hardly had any beer in it tho, overall I won’t bother with this place again!

This place has the BEST Mexican food in America. I always tell my friends and family in the Austin area to stop by if they want to taste authentic Mexican flavors. This restaurant got me when I missed the food back home while going to school in Austin, their tacos are the best, the closest you can get to authentic Mexican food in the United States!!!

About $7 total for two tacos. Two are fine. Good size.
Chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg on flour. Both could use a little more meat in the filling. Tortillas were a little thick and could have used a little more crisping up. All in all, pretty good. And very nice people.

Quick service mexican restaurant that serves classic dishes such as pescado frito, carne asada, tacos including barbacoa de chivo o res, al pastor, nopales, pambazos and so much more.
On the weekends you’ll find musicians who stop by to play live music and will take requests. The service is very quick and you’ll be served chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. I’ve tried many of their dishes and tacos and haven’t been disappointed. One of my favorites to get is the Pambazo de chorizo y papa (messy but worth it) and a Green Juice. They have several agua frescas or juices to choose from. Their tortillas are nixtamalized so you can’t go wrong if you choose corn tacos.
They also serve beer and have a full bar drinks. You can usually find parking in the shopping center’s parking lot.

The food tasted good but the tacos were very small. I mean like flour tortillas with just a smudge of beans or whatever else. I was stunned at how small they were and the prices didn’t reflect that. The quality was great, the quantity was severely lacking at like $4 a taco on average.

Great, no frills, neighborhood spot that serves up tasty tacos and delicious drinks and aguas frescas. Highly recommend the melon (cantaloupe), it was so sweet and fresh! Plenty of parking in the front. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed and cared for.

Although no English here they helped me and I helped them to where we understodd what I wanted to order. The horchata was so good and the food I got was good to. The place is pricey but I walked in and it felt like I was welcomed with opened arms ↕️. Loved it.

Absolutely love coming here. The food is always so good. I highly recommend servido de chivo, it comes with hand made tortillas.It’s my favorite. Every time I am in Austin it’s a must. Don’t forget to get a michelada, they are so good!

Came here after seeing a Best of Austin list and was not disappointed! We got two platters, two huuuge agua frescos, and it came out to under $25. Some of the tastiest and most authentic tacos in town. Well definitely be back.
