I got a chance to visit this restaurant sometime ago when an Indian delegate was visiting bay area and felt like this was an hidden gem of Indian restaurant. Food was good, reasonable pricing and yes variety of options.
I recently revisited the restaurant, and was glad to have the same kind of food experience once again. for 17.99 for buffet we had options for appetizers 2+, Sweets 4+, beverage options including juice, chai etc 4+, and 5+ veg curries , 2+ rice options etc.
The manager and serving team were careful and quite attentive to our asks and even got us fresh Naans too on our request which added to our experience. Definitely a must go place for buffet for 17.99.

I am reviewing their banquet hall experience, not their restaurant.
The food was exceptionally good for a banquet hall dinner. I especially liked the paneer jal farezi which was nicely spiced and not at all dripping in oil. All I needed was that + jeera rice + raita. Yummy. The falooda flavor ice cream they served was very tasty too – not overly sweet.
Service was fast. Bathroom was clean-ish.
The decor of the banquet hall is old and tacky though. Typical of run of the mill Indian banquet halls.

The food was not okay, but the customer service was awful. When one of the customers politely gave a review about the food, the manager became rude and defensive instead of listening. A manager should handle feedback with respect and professionalism. Very poor experience — definitely not coming back until they improve their attitude toward customers.

The food was great and our waiter was really good and gave great service. However, the management takes the tips and doesn’t tip the waiters when you tip on card, which is literally an illegal practice! If you go please tip your server in cash so the management does not steal the tips!!! I’m going again next month and if it’s the same then I will be reporting the restaurant to the authorities for illegal wage theft!

We showed up 18 minutes before closing time for lunch. The buffet meal was available, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. The goat curry was delicious. Chicken biriyani, raitha, chicken tikka, fish pakora, okra, butter chicken, more vegetarian and non-veg dishes were available. As for dessert, the fresh fruits, and the mango pudding were quite delicious. Since we were there past closing time, we didn’t want to stay longer. Definitely recommendable. Going there again for sure!

I got the saag paneer and the saag chicken, and I found it to be extremely oily, but maybe that’s the way the food is. It’s not supposed to be a healthy place.

Great lunch buffet. Perfect options for lunch so it makes you easier to choose between what is offered unlike other places where there are like a lot of items kept in the buffet and you get confused on which one to select. I really like the dessert options they had like three options which includes carrot pudding, mango custard, and kheer. There are plenty of parking available, and washroom is available on site. There is a big dining hall which you can use it for any BANQUET or hosting any parties. I’m not sure of the charge but at least the lunch buffet was $13 plus tax and I feel it’s pretty much economical for a lunch buffet.
