The martini with the gold olives was a turn off, the appetizers were okay overpriced for the quantity but it’s expected because of the location. As most reviews state the service and atmosphere are great, but the food was nothing special. The sushi rolls were okay, average in taste nothing to wow about. The lamb chops were not good, the taste and the way it was seasoned and prepared was just terrible. The lamb chops are a fail, most definitely a hard pass. For me this was a one time place, I wouldn’t go back!

This is a very nice restaurant in West Hollywood. The food is very pretty and service is exceptional. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it for a celebration. Fish sushi are good and cooked dishes are very good. I won’t recommend A5 wagyu since it’s very chewy and not melt-in-the-mouth like other places I’ve tried. They have happy hours that save quite a lot for the appetizers.

From start to finish, our experience at The Red Fish WEHO far exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely divine — the sushi quite literally melted like butter and every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented.
The service was equally impressive. Our waiter, Levi, left a lasting impression. He was unbelievably attentive, genuinely personable, and struck that perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. His presence elevated the entire evening.
Between the exceptional cuisine, superb service, and overall atmosphere, this was truly a standout dining experience. We will absolutely be back.

Redfish was absolutely outstanding! The sushi was incredibly fresh and full of flavor — some of the best we’ve had. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and delicious, the New York strip was tender and flavorful, and the pasta was equally amazing. Every dish was done beautifully.
The service was spectacular — attentive, friendly, and truly elevated the entire dining experience. Levi was our waiter and was absolutely fantastic!
What surprised us most was that the restaurant was nearly empty. With food and service this good, it should be packed! People absolutely need to check this place out. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing dinner at The Red Fish in West Hollywood! The place is gorgeous, with elegant décor and a cozy atmosphere.
The service was great, the manager even came by to check on us, which was a nice touch. We had a mix of sushi, pasta, burgers, spicy edamame, and desserts everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
I tried the espresso martini and a passion fruit margarita, and both were delicious.
Highly recommend for a stylish night out with great food and drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Heard about a new spot opening in West Hollywood and wanted to have a date night with my wife so we decided to try it out. We were told it was their opening week so we had the entire restaurant to ourselves. What a beautiful restaurant! The staff were so kind, welcoming, and super attentive. We absolutely loved the ambiance and decor inside. We ordered the New York Strip, Brussel Sprout Crisps, Chilean sea bass, and a wonderful coffee martini(I forget the actual name). The chef brought us out some dishes on the house including an arugula salad and different types of sushi! The food was amazing! The dish that stuck out the most was the sea bass. Honestly it’s the best fish dish l’ve ever had. Just wanted to say thank you to everybody for making our date night so memorable. We will definitely be returning in the near future! Thank you again.

This was our First time here and I want to say it was one of the best services we’ve had! The food was good- you can tell it was made with a lot of care. The presentation was great & portions fair! Our meal was more sushi and roll focused and it didn’t disappoint! We will definitely be back!

Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend their margarita, lemon roll and crispy rice! The seabass was buttery soft and so fresh. We were a big group and the waiters were super patient and friendly with us! Everything came out in a very timely manner and Gerry our waiter was super accommodating and polite even though we were a huge group and so indecisive on what to order, he took the time to make suggestions and help us out. All the staff were super friendly and sweet! The owner came out to welcome us after our meal, this restaurant knows how to treat their customers!! Definitely my new fav restaurant!

I had a fabulous meal here solo dining. I ordered a variety of raw fish, all were great. My favorite dish was the yellowtail carpaccio. The seating was very comfortable and the customer service was great as well.

I should have listened to the warning sign when we walked up to an nearly empty restaurant. But after working in restaurants for years, I know slow nights can bring out a team’s best and service here was exactly that. Formal, welcoming and very attentive.
Unfortunately, the food and odd presentation missed the mark.
They added flourishes that felt performative while skipping essentials. We ordered a dirty martini and were surprised to see the olives simply smothered in gold leaf—why?
The ceviche arrived in a carved-out coconut that clearly took more effort than the dish itself. The portion was small, maybe four ounces of fish total. The flavor was there, but the value just wasn’t.
We also tried a few pieces of nigiri (more gold leaf) which ended up being the highlight. The kampachi nigiri in particular was the best bite of the night.
The NY steak, however, was a letdown. We ordered it medium-rare but it came out seared on both sides, raw in the middle and the fat was not rendered.
It was our anniversary too so that stung a little.
Overall, it was a strange experience. Support Melrose but maybe skip this spot.
