The atmosphere was very nice and calming. There was music playing, but it was low enough that you could comfortably hear your server and have a conversation without shouting. Very relaxing vibe.
The restaurant was clean, and the servers were friendly, attentive, and kind. The food also came out on time with no long wait, which I appreciated.
As for the dishes, I’m not sure if it was an off night, but some of the flavors were a bit off. The bistec encebollado was slightly salty, and the mofongo could’ve used a bit more garlic. Overall still enjoyable, just needed a little balance.
The carne frita with arroz mamposteao tasted different from the usual flavor I’m used to, and the carne frita had a noticeable vinegar taste. The piña colada tasted more like straight pineapple juice and could’ve been blended a little better.
Overall, the restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. With a few adjustments to the dishes, it could easily be a go-to spot.

First time here. Food was really good. Fresh and tasty. My bad review have to be more with the service. I went there with a group of friends. We order over $300 on food but apparently its a time limit to be inside of the restaurant eating because the server asked us to leave. Even when they have plenty tables available. They only have three tables on used including ours. I worked on the food industry myself and I never tell a guest to leave because their taking too long on the table. It’s kind of rude. I was even thinking order some food to go for my husband and after the incident I changed my mind. Definitely, I never go back again. Took me 45 min get there and I have to track my time otherwise I get kicked out. Never again.

Moving here from New York in January, one of the first things we looked for was a New York style pizza place and a good Spanish restaurant. We have tried several food trucks and other restaurants that claim to be good, but when we found this gem of a Puerto Rican restaurant, we were hooked. The service, and taste are consistently good. So far everything we’ve had has been delicious. Their steak and onions with rice and beans are the best I’ve tasted in the area. And best of all, the atmosphere is loving with Christian music playing in the background. You definitely have to give them a try if you’re looking for real authentic Puerto Rican food and great service.
