BIG portions & friendly folks.
Loved the Salad Bar!
I got the Spaghetti & hubby the Chicken Fried Steak… we both liked the Gravy & for us- that’s a HUGE ONE cause we’re from TN & as Southerners, we don’t play around about Gravy.
Our server, Ms. JLo was an amazing server, so friendly & kept up with us during our meal- if we needed anything, how our meal was, etc… she’s a really sweet lady.
We’ll be back!

I went out of my way to find some place to eat during my travels, that wasn’t a fast food restaurant and this sounded good.
Paid 27.87 for a 13.50 breakfast. Oh I got French toast breakfast. I asked to have the strawberries and bananas like they show in the picture and could I add nuts. Well, I had no idea it was over 3.oo each side!! Also waited 16min from time i placed order till I got it.

My wife and 3 teens stopped by for lunch on our trip and we were VERY happy we did.
Very easy to find off the interstate. Ample parking. Fairly large space. Immediately greeted and had tremendous wait staff. Everyone just seemed vert friendly and happy to be there. The atmosphere was relaxed and country like. You could tell other locals were familiar with the place. The homemade soup was fantastic. My Reuben, the girls sandwiches and my boys burger were first rate. Excellent salads as well.

Waitress was Lovely. Very friendly, food was good, wonderful service. A great place to go for home cooking and a feel good atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My Country Breakfast Skillet was delicious. Very wide menu. I was part of a group of about 20, so didn’t expect service to be speedy, but it was still fine. Atmosphere was ordinary diner, nothing special. Located close to Interstate, so recommended for I-74 travelers.

This restaurant was wonderful. Our waitress was sweet and sufficient. Very clean environment. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The food was was amazing.

Their Walleye sandwich is as good as the Cod sandwich from Culver’s. Served with French fries and soup of the day, more than enough food. It looks like a one waitress show but she’s a gem. Be patient though as she gets to everyone. Fries are served hot too which is really Important to my wife. Pies come from the Chicago area and the Key Lime was outstanding. Just a really nice and clean diner. Check it out.

Clean country style atmosphere that could use some new bench seats. But that was not a deterrent in any way.
I was there during brunch hours.
The waitress was, friendly and while busy multi-tasking kept an eye on my table to make sure my order came out promptly, my coffee was topped off and checked to make sure everything was okay.
The food portion was generous, (especially for what I paid), and not over seasoned. Which was good because you can always add seasoning to your individual taste.
It also was not too far off the highway and there are two gas stations in that vicinity.
So if you are in the area, give it a try.
