This is a disappointing review that I will leave and probably will not come back unless I’m ordering a grilled cheese sandwich – I came thru the drive through orders a #10 with a Sprite got to the window paid for my order. The young lady handed me my Sprite. I checked my drinks. Glad I do there was something floating in it. I should’ve known then that maybe I shouldn’t have stopped. She proceeds to get me a fresh sprite as I hear a coworker say get the fresh Sprite like why are we not serving everybody fresh anything in the beginning? Now here’s where it gets very disappointing. I get home. I take a bite into my food. I instantly see raw red meat. I was in no hurry, and there was no line yet they let raw food go out their window, even after microwaving it the center was still pinknonetheless I just ate my fries and called it a day because they literally just made sure the outside of the burger was brown, a little crisped ends because the center was completely pink I tore off a side piece just to make sure maybe there were other parts of the burger that was completely cooked and it wasn’t.

Staff at this Steak ‘n Shake is extremely rude. I am a DoorDash driver and I stop there often in that capacity, not as a patron. I would never spend my money at this so-called restaurant.
The entire staff at this Steak ‘n Shake is of a homogenous ethnicity. As a minority who strongly supports DEI in all spaces, I want to be as tactful and diplomatic as possible while sharing the following observation.
Staff laughs, jokes, and has fun while the customer stands there without extending so much as an “I’ll be with you shortly.” I have NEVER received a salutary greeting upon entering this establishment.
However, when gig workers of their ethnicity approach the counter, staff members are welcoming and pleasant. I cannot understand what they’re saying bc I do not speak the language but I observe smiles and jovial exchanges.
Those working in a customer service capacity should welcome customers with a greeting and a smile and not blatantly ignore customers. I’ve stood in their view for as long as 10 minutes watching their inappropriate playfulness, quipping and jocular behavior with no acknowledgement of my presence. It’s unprofessional, offputting, and unbecoming behavior.

Haven’t been to Steak and Shake in years, and it was not like I remembered. Stopped in for lunch, I just wanted a good burger. This burger had no flavor, I ordered a single patty, but I tasted more of the condiments than anything. The vegetables were fresh, but that was the star of the show

My first time eating at Steak ‘n Shake, even though I’ve lived in the USA since 2022. Wow, the food is so good!! Had a double steak, double cheese combo and while the burger was delicious, man alive the fries are next level…now I know what people are raving about. The flavor of the beef tallow and the perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – so good
Anyways, this first visit for sure won’t be the last!

It’s not bad for fast food. I appreciate the use of tallow for frying. I’m not a fan of the sickly sweet BBQ sauce used. It’s palatable

This was an excellent experience from ordering at the kiosk to sitting down and eating one of the juiciest burgers I’ve had in a while. $4.99 for that shake with 5 cherries on top is unheard of. Clean, not too busy, and kind and helpful staff. I wish I could eat here every night but I don’t want to die young.

Please forgive my spelling but our waitress “Darysis” (I lost the paper she gave me) I think it was or something along that line was a very friendly waitress and top notch! She deserves a raise and was very kind and attentive! The food was great and my shake got out super quick! Overall was a 10/10 experience.

If I could give negative stars, I would… this place used to be good fun. I have been here many times. This visit was beyond horrible. They have gotten rid of all of theor waitstaff and have replaced them with a kiosk. I asked a worker for a menu, but none of the 4 standing around spoke English and after several minutes they found one person in the store who spoke mostly okay English… she had no clue where to find an actual menu and was ZERO help trying to navigate the digital kiosk one. I had a question about an item due to ingredients, but the only english speaker had no idea how to help me…
I ordered what I could. It even asked me to add a tip! Haha… um, no. When the food came up, there were no plates or silverware and I had to get it myself from a non-staffed window. I waited, but no employees were available at anytime to help me or provide me any service at all. This is one of the worst “restaurant” experiences I have ever had…

Went for lunch. We got there and it was pretty slow. We waited close to 20 minutes for our food. Thankfully everything was good and hot. None of the employees could really speak English, so they were hard to understand and they couldn’t understand us either. Other than the time and that food was great.
