I’ve eaten here several times and tried several things and Imop the best thing is the stuffed peppers. I am told the chicken quesadilla is the best in the area . Salsa here is really good better than most places as are the chips. But the salsa is always really chunky and because of that the chips break. Don’t change the chips …we are so glad to have those thinner chips !
I am not a fan of their rice. Not sure what the seasoning is that is always pronounced and forward in the rice but I find it overwhelms the dish.
Service here is always good.
It’s a little pricey. Parking can be tricky, not much parking .

I ordered my food to go via phone. I ordered fajitas nacho mix. When they wasn’t clear on that included steak shrimp and chicken I should have recognized the red flag. However I still continue with my order. Upon getting back to work with my food I opened the container and saw that the nachos had shredded cheese and looked very distasteful. I instantly called the restaurant and spoke with the owner who lacked customer service and Mexican authenticity. I explained to her that the food I received was not as expected. She stated well that’s how it is on the menu and I have been serving it that way for 12 years. I informed her that no Mexican restaurant serves it that way and I am very displeased. She was not willing to compromise with me and not trying to offer to make it right with paying $22 for 8 chips.Customer satisfaction is everything in a business and she definitely didn’t have any of that. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone going there. Owner was very rude.

It is advertised as Mexican food, but the flavors/seasoning suggest otherwise. Food is bland and overpriced. Sadly, not a place I would recommend or come back to.
Service:
Service was the highlight of the experience. My apologies for not remembering her name. But to the Argentinian girl: if I had a business, I’d hire you! Good job.
Atmosphere:
It was ok. It could use more ambiance (we sat in the outside tables).
Parking:
There is parking in the complex, but it is limited so keep that in mind.

Staff was very polite and attentive and made sure we were very welcome. The food was amazing and everything was super fresh! Will be happy to come again sometime to try some more of what they have to offer.

Been numerous times and EVERY TIME the food is delicious!! We enjoy the poppers, pork enchiladas and stuffed peppers! The chips and salsa are yummy too! The service is quick and the waiters/waitresses are friendly! It is our favorite Mexican restaurant in town!

Nicely decorated restaurant with booths and tables. Service was good. Salsa was very good and freshly made. Ordered the chicken fajitas for two and they didn’t disappoint. Came with rice, beans, peppers, onions, guacamole and sour cream. Parking lot is small. That would be the only downside.

Another amazing dinner at Chava’s in Edwardsville. Daniel is always a great server and bartender. Amazing quality food at a very reasonable cost in our hometown. All food is great but pork enchiladas, Guadalajara tacos and el mereco burritos and mango margs! Yum!!!!

Oh my goodness the food here was incredible!! The flavors of everything from the salsa to the fajita meat and the guacamole! My husband had the stuffed peppers he said they were amazing as well. We will absolutely be back.

The rice was definitely not Mexican rice! The fajita “nacho” is literally 9 chips with the “fixns” on each chip. The torta i received had two little strips of steak on one half of the sandwich and when I brought these issues up to the waitress her comment was “that’s how it comes. Highly recommend against.
