First time here. Will def return. Went for Xmas eve dinner. Kevin our waiter was on point and so was the food. All dishes came out quick Sugar cookie martini was lush as hell.

We will come back for a second look. It was questionable at first. We were confused about the “feel” of this restaurant. It had deer heads and tin on the walls and tablecloths on the tables with candles.
The server said it was rustic.
The shrimp appetizer had good flavor but were overcooked.
The steak was good. The drinks were good.

Valentine’s date was the best at Red Flame! We started with the New Orleans style crab cake & it was phenomenal with perfect seasoning & sauced abundant crawfish & scallops, yummmy!! I had the Filet Kawi, which were filet steak medallions, topped with goat cheese, sautéed spinach & cherry tomatoes, whipped mashed potatoes & sautéed mushrooms. (should def offer on regular menu). Absolutely delicious! My hubby had the grilled Seabass Zarandeado, wild caught seabass with achiote & chiles, served with cilantro rice & fresh asparagus. (Also should be added to regular menu), but hubby loved it & still talking about it the next day!

Our server Cadence was an absolute doll! She was very dialed in to our needs & delivered promptly with smiles & grace. Couldn’t have felt more comfortable & pampered!

Will definitely go back for the outstanding service & amazing food.

Had the 3-course business lunch at Red Flame Grill and Bar for $23.95, which was great for a casual lunch

Started with a cup of mushroom cream soup — rich, creamy, and super comforting. Then came the Korean grilled wings: smoky, juicy, with a sweet glaze and just the right char. Loved the sesame and scallion garnish.

For the main, I got the ribeye tacos. The meat was tender and flavorful, topped with fresh veggies and avocado, also with some BBQ sauce on the side that you can control. The side of black beans with queso cheese really tied it all together.

Portions were generous, everything was flavorful, and service was solid.

One thing I would adjust is the speed of the food, felt like it was coming out too fast before I could finish a course, the next course was already taking the table space around me.

Had the pumpkin soup, tuna ponzu, and surf & turf. Tuna was fresh and flavorful with the avocado, and the soup was cozy with the croutons giving it a nice touch.
A bit disappointed that I ordered the steak rare but it came out medium. Server kindly offered to fix it, but we didn’t have time to wait for a new one. Still enjoyed the flavors though.

Came here for the first time saw the reviews thinking this was going to be an upscale steak house. We arrived and saw the decor and atmosphere realized that it wasn’t as fancy as I thought. No worries, we ordered a Mexican martini and an old fashioned and they were solid. No complaints. We ordered a ribeye and a picanha both medium rare. The picanha came out rare. In no way did this resembled a picanha with a fat cap. It was also priced at $27 which is no way a decent price for what you got. This looked like a tri tip strip. We waited an additional 15 minutes at that time I had already finished my ribeye and we took the new steak home. The prices are too high for quality IMO. If you’re going to charge higher than some of the most premier steakhouses in Houston you better produce results and this place just fell short. The ribeye was good, not worth $45+. Texas Roadhouse is a better option with better service.

We have eaten at the 1488 locations many times. The food is delicious if not exquisite. The service is timely and friendly.
We have used their catering services. They set up the food, served, cleaned up and it was absolutely perfect! The guests were amazed at the food quality and taste. Julio built the menu we requested and we were more than satisfied!

Jesse was our server and he was perfect. He even crusted our sugar on our creme brule with the torch table side! The rib-eye was delicious. Cooked right, good crust, very juicy and really tasty. My wife tried the Beef Wellington, (they only had 1 left) we have never tried a Wellington before. If thats how they all taste, we would order it again and again.

I did have a big problem with the amount of dust in the bathroom. All over the place. The towel dispenser was filthy. You guys should really do a better job cleaning your bathrooms. With food this good I expect to have an ultra clean place…. this did not deliver.

Waited 10+ minutes after being seated to even be spoken to and get drink order in. We weren’t offered rolls, had to ask for them after we saw other tables receiving them. The steaks were cooked well and tasted good, but my wifes sauteed mushrooms looked and tasted like they were from a can. It definitely wasn’t worth the $235 price tag.
