I love their sense of humor here! The art on the walls was beautiful yet hilarious!
We ordered at the counter before sitting down. The lady behind the counter was extremely gracious and patiently answered all of my inquiries. She welcomed everyone in with a greeting and a smile which definitely added to the overall experience!
We ended up getting the Birria Pizza, Sopes, and 3 types of street tacos–chorizo, lengua, and crispy tripas. Everything was full of flavor! I don’t usually like chorizo but she talked me into it. It’s homemade, and not overly salted like other places! Honestly, everything tasted so beautiful–including the flan we ordered to-go. I love the salsa bar, but my favorite was definitely the Habanero and Chip salsa. Really, really glad we stumbled upon this place while we were in the area! The portions are huge and everything is made in-house which seriously adds to the overall quality. Prices were so cheap for what you get. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was amazing. We tried the breakfast burrito, pancakes with eggs and sausage (not pictured), birria omelet, and the chilaquiles divorciados. Everything was flavorful and the portions we generous. The meat with my chilaquiles was surprisingly delicious. The birria was better than a lot of places we’ve tried. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was great. Will definitely return for the birria ramen!

We decided to stop by this new location and try it for the first time.
My son had the burrito, my wife had the fancy taco, and I went with the street tacos: carnitas and chorizo. We also tried the chips with queso, which was fantastic. I think one of my favorite options was the numerous different salsas at the salsa bar that you can try with your food.
Service was great; right when we walked in, we put in our order and got our food relatively quickly.
We were not disappointed, and we will be back to try the breakfast.
Update: Breakfast is great and portions are nothing to mess around with!

These tacos are phenomenal. If you are a fan of a taco truck without sitting outside in the cold, this is your new spot. Clean and fun environment. Quesobirra taco is a MUST try! Not gonna lie, The table next to me ordered all you can eat tacos and decided to leave an entire plate. They were so good. I grabbed the tacos off that table too.

Run, don’t walk to Faustinos Breakfast & Tacos! Every time we’re here, I’m shocked there isn’t a wait! We started with the street corn dip, I got my usual (birria omelet) and shared that with my 7-year old. My husband got the chorizo breakfast burrito. On prior visits we’ve tried their pancakes, French toast, and chilaquiles – all wonderful! Their agua frescas are refreshing plus free refills! Oh and the murals are the best!
Breakfast is 7:30-2:30 dinner from 2:30-10pm

Been there twice for brunch and loved it. Food is delish with good variety and portion size. Can grab your own salsa/sauces… so good. And loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. Service was excellent and so friendly. Love the creative and colorful decor and humorous wall art too!

Absolutely amazing. We went for breakfast and got the Huevos con Chorizo and the Birria Omelette. They also serve chips and your choice of salsa from a selection of small cups. All tasted amazing. The habenero wasn’t my favorite, but it had flavor and wasn’t overwhelmingly hot. All others were really good. The tortillas were obviously fresh made, and the food was the best I’ve had in Iowa. Our only complaint was we ran out of tortillas. When your only complaint about the food is you want more, that’s good! I wanted to buy some of the salsa before leaving, but they got busy so I didn’t wait in line. Definitely worth the trip back next time in town!

Overall a decent place to get food. Unique breakfast food options for the area. I got the birria omelette and was good but I would try something else next time. Fresh squeezed orange juice tasted a bit more sour than I’d prefer. Tres leches cake was good, not great, and didn’t match $6 for the size I was given. Bunch of cool funny paintings on the wall and made us think of Taco Hangover which is well missed.

We are in Des Moines visiting every so often, and always looking for new places to visit, do not hesitate and try their food! They have a very welcoming environment, with quick service. Es el primer lugar que yo visito en el Midwest que tienen tacos de nopales, riquisimos. Los tacos vampiros, absolutely recommended!! Wide variety of options available. El agua de fresa muy rica. Food was outstanding. Will most definitely return and considering catering options from there.
