Open later than expected them to be which was a plus except the BBQ sandwich had just enough sauce to give the meat flavor however I do like to have a little bit more than what was received. It was delicious though and everyone is different. I’m sure many would love it for the flavor they have. We are a Family of 5 that got our order to go and had absolutely no issues with the order once it was ready. Everything we asked for we got. Will go back and try another item on the menu cause all of it sounded delicious.

We love this place! Great bbq. But our favorite is the fried jalapenos! They ain’t hot, but the flavor just sends ya. Wife just mentioned going there and it’s an hour and a half drive. Let’s go baby!

Ate lunch their today. Had the jumbo BBQ beef sandwich with potato salad. It was very good, loaded with beef and just the right amount of sauce on it. Wait staff was very courteous and food was out on the table a lot faster than I expected. I give them four (4) stars.

oh my Goodness! Great sauce.. the rub is authentic and balanced .. with deep character of litely spicy and live savory flavors.. REEEEEALLLLY GOOD BAR B CUE!! Most of the items on the menu like fried okra, onion rings, mac n cheese, potato salad are made in house as well as the breadings. FRIED PIES AVAILABLE!!! It’s worth the 15 minute drive off the interstate just to smell it…. sooooooooooo glad we turned south leaving Monroeville and stopped in the bustling mecca of Excel, birthplace of my late great great grandmother Hall who ran the country store at Hall’s Crossings. Staff is super friendly and loaded with entertaining stories if you find the time to sit a spell.

I bought a 4.99 Jr cheeseburger & had SIX corn nuggets for a total of $7.87 !!! Burger was overcooked and & dry if I wasn’t going to the parade I would have taken it back. Worst experience ever, I will never eat there or recommend this place
