This is the second time I go to this location and they do something wrong. The first time was months ago they made an awful smoothie I always get that they somehow ruined that day. I called and spoke to a manager who assured me they’d make it right, but they never followed up to do anything about it. Today they refused to honor a perfectly good promo for a free smoothie and redirected me to the “customer service” knowing there is no phone number or immediate support. Mind you this was the manager himself who was more than capable of honoring a perfectly good promo. This location gives tropical smoothie a terrible name. I have a bunch of rewards because I used to spend a bunch of money here and haven’t used them because I dislike this location that much. I don’t buy from tropical anymore because of management here.

Quick take out tonight for one of my daughter’s favorite go to Restaurants.
We ordered online through the app and it was Ready to go when we arrived. Store personnel were friendly, and the food was wrapped and ready for carry out.
The meal of choice is the Three-cheese Chicken’ Dilla. We get it with roasted red peppers which gives it some extra flavor. You can see from the picture below how delicious it looks.
We frequent here often and we are never disappointed.

Stopped in on my way from PA to NC for a hummus veggie wrap. Workers were okay at their job but not very friendly or welcoming. I waited for at least 5-10 mins before anyone even spoke to us. This specific location seems to be in a nice part of town so I did expect better service and conditions. I decided to eat my food in the store after being on the road for the last 5+ hours. It was 89 degrees in the store, hotter than what it was outside. I asked for a cup of tap water and they charged me .53 cents for it which I thought was outrageous considering how hot it was in the store and I already purchased 2 wraps. Overall I wasn’t impressed. I regularly eat at tropical smoothies across the east coast but I likely won’t be back to this location. Nickel and diming is not how you keep loyal customers esp when it’s hot out and you already aren’t maintaining a decent temperature in the store

My recent visit to Tropical Smoothie Cafe fell far short of expectations. While I understand some variation exists between locations, the service was unacceptable. Despite four staff members being present, my family and I were completely ignored for roughly ten minutes.
The quality of the smoothies was uneven. While my green smoothie was passable, my daughter’s acai berry smoothie was unfortunately a disappointment. Additionally, the overall cleanliness and atmosphere of the cafe were unpleasant. The staff also appeared unprofessional. Do not recommend.

The smoothies were good but their process for app orders needs improvement. They have a clearly marked shelving unit for app orders yet they don’t use it. They just pile it up behind the counter where the customer can’t get to it. They stated they do this when it’s busy but there were only a couple of customers in the store.

Please never order from here online when anything can go wrong with online orders. I ordered pick up by mistake . I was told I would not get my money refunded because my order had been made already . I had to argue with the manager until he finally agreed to refund me but ONLY this time. I don’t support businesses like this, terrible customer service. In the food industry I have never experienced this before. Especially when it’s easy to make the mistake I made. I just ordered from there yesterday and i order frequently. Now I will never order from here again. The anger I feel being told that because it was made they want to keep my money. I even said that is stealing! Which I consider it to be when the products were kept by the company and my money as well. Unfortunately I didn’t receive my goods so I owe no money . Even my bank would understand this if I dispute this transaction if I am not actually refunded like I was told. I am so disappointed. In the economy we are living in these Businesses that do this to customers don’t deserve our support.

I ordered pickup on their app, and when I arrived the staff said they gave it to a doordash driver by mistake. They made no offer to remake my order to fix their mistake. After politely pointing out that they were at fault and showing the receipt, she said she’ll redo the order.
I waited 30 minutes and watched as the staff served 6 people after me. I went up and asked how long its going to take, she said she forgot and STILL did not fulfill my order. I waited another 20 minutes before asking and she finally did it, but only gave me the smoothie and not the food. I had to ask again, and they clearly forgot my food order as well. A full hour of this complete non-sense.
The entire staff was absolutely horrible. The short latina lady and the woman with glasses and purple hair gave my order to a doordash driver, intentionally ignored me, forgot to remake it, and took ONE FULL HOUR to correct their mistake. They did not apologize either. Terrible service
