A True Thai Gem – An Unforgettable Experience!
Dining at Jasmine Thai Restaurant was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were transported. Beautiful, authentic Thai décor fills the space, with intricate details that make you feel like you’ve stepped into Thailand itself. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, creating a truly immersive experience.
The food was absolutely exceptional. Every dish was prepared with such love and care, down to the finest detail in both flavor and presentation. You can tell the chefs are passionate about what they do. Each plate was a work of art and a celebration of Thai culinary tradition.

Jasmine Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem in Brandon, FL. The place is exquisitely furnished w/ native Thailand furnishings and decor, very demure…I’m not a Thai Tea guy but I did order a regular iced tea (unsweetened) the sweeteners were more than adequately provided, need to ask for additional. My waitress, Amy, what a sight, appeared in full golden Thai dress. Very impressive. I ordered Red Curry Shrimp, my standard for all Thai restaurants, let me say, this restaurant is my new standard. Most restaurants are skimping on the shrimp but Jasmine Thai does not…7-8 large shrimp cooked to perfection, veggies are nice and al dente and the cilantro garnish was a pleasant touch! Perfect blend of sweet, savory and salt, I was in an existential experience eating inwardly wanting to wander the jungles of Bangkok. Don’t believe me? Try it ASAP!

Good food, atmosphere was amazing, and the waitresses were so kind & attentive. I got the eggplant curry special of the day while my wife got the red curry with beef and both were absolutely delicious with their own distinct flavor. The egg rolls were a nice appetizer to the meal. We spent the same amount of money that we spent here at an Applebee’s recently and we’re definitely not as satisfied as we were here. We’ll be back for sure. 🙂

I can come here after a super stressful day and the food, service and peaceful atmosphere will have me so relaxed half way thru the meal. The flavors are beyond amazing. If you are looking for healthy food in a peacefully setting, come here. They are never too crowded but do a lot of order pick ups. If you have never had Thai food, start here. They are the BEST!

Update: They have a special soup menu and wow it is amazing. I could live on the Coconut and the Red Curry soup!!!! The sweet n sour is very salty and the green curry is ok.

PRO’s on the food: Crab Rangoon is better than any other place we have tried. There was actual visible crab and you could taste it!
Hubby loves either: Pineapple fried rice with raisins, peppers, and cashews and choice of meat. It was sweet and not dry like some places. We ordered chicken and it was tender. Or, Sweet and Sour which to me is too sweet.
I love: Red Curry and the Panang Curry was beautiful and served with ample amounts of sauce. I ordered veggie no meat and could not finish it.
The Mango Curry is a sweet coconut base kicked up with spice. Mild was fine. First bites were spicy but midway you don’t notice anymore. Chunks of sweet mango and chicken so tender you can’t find this at any other Thai place around, and I eat at all of them.
Their coconut soup is the best. Twice the size and more in it that the other Thai place on hey 60. Packed with whole mushrooms not slices, I get it with tofu and love the flavor.
I also like the Drunken Noodles which has just enough heat to open the sinuses but not burn the tongue. Next time I will order it with extra veggies.
Cons: The Green Curry tasted like pureed peas with spice. Not at all what I expected. Just awful. Maybe today was a bad day? But this is the only thing I don’t like here
This is our favorite Thai place in the area for a reason. Great for both business, family or a romantic meal. Not a place for children who do not sit well. Been coming here for years and never once had a problem with service which is over the top.

Fantastic Thai restaurant; highly recommend starting with the Coconut soup, with delicate flavors that keep you wanting more. There are many delicious vegetarian options; our non-meat eating crowd left very satisfied. With the beautiful presentation of the food, the elegant atmosphere and the traditional clothes the wait staff wears, the experience at Jasmine Thai was exceptional. This was the second year in a row I wanted to come to Jasmine Thai for my birthday dinner, and we will likely keep the tradition going next year!
