Christmas Day! Ate here with my girlfriend for the very first time! And what an experience! First of all, unlike the Chinese restaurant just around the corner (won’t mention any names), that had their disgusting (inflation) “Holiday Prices” Price List posted on their counter ($37.99 +tax = $42.93 per person, not including the prices of any beverages) on Christmas Day (what a beautiful way to give back to Canadians!)…. Ariyana, on the other hand, maintained the same prices for their full menu on this very beautiful festive day!
I had the Lamb Shank meal, which included White rice, Saffron rice, choice of vegetables, sauces, dips, and a bowl of Lamb soup. The soup was beyond amazing! The Lamb was nicely marinated and literally melted in my mouth!! The meat slipped right off the bone as if it was slow cooked for a minimum of 6 hours (this is my guess). It was sooo tender and juicy!! And it was reasonably priced.
My girlfriend had the Chicken Shawarma Poutine. I got a chance to try a bite, which then turned into a few more bigger bites lol. The chicken was juicy and tender. The gravy was on point. The cheese melted nicely.
On top of that, we had two canned pop cans to drink, all for a total of $42 (tax included).. which turned out to be less than half the price cheaper than the above mentioned *not mentioned*!
The food at Ariyana was definitely very tasty and on point! The plates were large and well portioned. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good “few” big bites! To-go plates are offered for people (like my girlfriend), who don’t have big appetites lol.
I was told by staff (who were extremely friendly), that if I ever wanna order the Lamb Shank meal online, that I need to specify to include the Lamb soup (which is free of charge).
Speaking of free of charge, staff were kind enough to offer us complimentary Baklava desert. It looks like it has pistachios in it!! My fav!! I brought it home to eat.. and now that im thinking of it, I’m going to stop writing so that i can dig right into it! Lol

Best chicken shawarma and falafel in Ptbo. Always falafel is freshly made at the moment; crispy and tasty. Chicken shawarma wrap or plate always has a fair portion and good flavour. The prices are really fair for the serving amount. Even when it is full, they attend you well and prepare everything quickly. Love their garlic sauce and tahini. Their hummus is homemade. I love it as well as the feta cheese is really delicious.

They catered my wedding in 2024 and my guests are still talking about how good the food was. They made up a special menu buffet style and it was so reasonably priced (included vegetarian options like eggplant that my meat eater guests loved as well). They did set up and take down, and presentation was incredible. They also did an elaborate fruit table. Such hardworking and passionate people behind this business but most importantly, they sure know how to cook! Thanks for being a part of this community. Don’t underestimate their catering! Just wow (I found them through a friend referral)

Had a chicken karahi and shawarma. The food was delicious and so full for even 1 person. Absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff. The lady at counter is amazing and very friendly and communicative. The owner gave us in house POP with our food, and didn’t charge for it. Defined recommend to try this place out. You will love the food and the folks working here.

After a busy day, I was starving and I was craving Chicken Schwarma on fries. I appreciate the food portion that I received. The lovely woman behind the counter was so nice and worked hard. I observed her filling delivery orders with care. The food is good: fries were crispy, pickles and beets were so good with the sauces, feta and hummus. I have had the falafel platter previously and it did not disappoint.

This was my second visit to this restaurant with my family. I have to confess that we’re in love with the food there! The food was very fresh and perfectly cooked with a lovely blend of flavors.
The koobideh kebab were juicy and very fresh and went really well with the rice serving (perfect for 1 person to enjoy).
The tandoori chicken had the perfect spicy flavor, not overpowering .. just the right amount. I must say that we’re in love with them … the filafel we’re crisp on the outside and soft inside and went really nice with the green and white sauce.
The owner is a wonderful person, very kind, patient and really helpful. He even made us a few vegetable samosas that were amazing … I don’t think I’ve had such wonderful and fresh samosas in town … we will definately visit again and would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I have been going to Ariyana Shawarma & Kebab ever since I first came here. I was new, missing home and one day I came across this eatery. I tried it and instantly fell in love.
Over the years, I have recommended this place to so many people and I still truly enjoy my meals here. Whenever I am homesick, this is the place I come to. It always makes me feel better.
The staff members are incredibly sweet and hardworking. They always do their best to offer amazing customer service. I am usually served by Jashan and she is an absolute sweetheart.
The food feels like it’s made with love and every bite is full of flavour. The food is halal and they also offer a good variety of vegetarian options.
I would 100% recommend this spot! My favourites are the shawarma wrap/plate and the karahi plate. Honestly, I feel like I have practically grown up here.
