Came in for my lunch break I’m from outta town was looking for something familiar found this golden chick. The “manager” has been complaining since I walked in. Making faces as people walk in. Rolling eyes, huffing and puffing and just not very welcoming. The food was alright could’ve been fresher….next time I’ll just stop at Allsups or elsewhere…this lady is bad for the company and bad for business. Her attitude makes the visit very unenjoyable

I would love to know how they charge people $11 for a three piece chicken strip & this is the size of the chicken they serve. On top of that they can’t read I guess? How hard is it to remember to put peoples sides in the box. You can’t just replace the side with two cups of gravy. There isn’t enough food in this box to need that much gravy. Save your time & money and go literally anywhere else to eat.

The cleanliness of the restaurant was poor.. smelt like a Chuck E. Cheese in there.. tables were dirty and needs an immediate deep clean with disinfectant… I was hesitant to order the food after I entered but I was committed .. food tasted decent and was hot.. the sweet tea is very similar to drinking syrup so tread lightly on that.

Literally watched a girl at the drive through drop ice on the counter, use her HANDS to sweep it back into the ice and then use her hands again to make a big hole in the ice and then put her energy drink (i think is what it was) in the ice that they serve to everyone. So gross and disgusting

Well done gold chick!!! This place looks good on the inside. Better than I expected. Especially the 4 tv screens on da wall…jus like da big chain restaurants. Food was hot and tasty, lil to much seasoning on rotisserie chicken but still good. Service was great as only wanted dark meat and they accommodated with different styles to compete da order! Lunch on da run. Wish the soft serve machine worked tho…

for an 8pc. mix. Was told that at the speaker so I get to the window and asked about the senior discount told yea same price. 8pcs. was 3wings,1breast, 2 legs and 2thighs. Chicken was hard either over cooked or stale possible both. I am not going here again, if you go by reviews before eating somewhere stay away. Felt ripped of and served poor food. Shame place use to be nice eat at. Don`t think it will be around for very much longer.

Got the 16 tender meal for $16.99, 3 family sides okra, dirty rice and mashed potatoes. I’ve worked in fast food for 10+ years and all the food was old. The orka was hard and cold. Tenders old. Dirty rice just nasty. Even the gravy was old.

I ordered a 10 piece dark regular fried chicken (not tenders) for delivery. I paid just under $30. The chicken was so overcooked the batter/coating was like rock. The delivery bag was not stapled closed as it’s supposed to be and the box was torn open. The delivery was also 20 minutes later than promised. When I tried to call the store 4 times, (During store hours) no one answered the phone. Totally unacceptable especially at these prices!

Best Golden Chick Ever…the Golden Roasted Chicken was so delicious I almost forgot to breathe while enjoying my dinner, Spicy Dirty Rice was perfect, the Fried Okra tasted homemade fresh. Then to top off everything…soft serve ice cream on tap was heavenly. I appreciated Lisa Duke for taking my order, delivery my food super quick and recommending the ice cream… Amazing with Root Beer.
