This Japanese restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The interior is elegant, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Everything there feels harmonious and well put together.
The food is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care. From the presentation to the taste, everything is simply perfect. The service is also attentive and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.
Overall, everything about this restaurant is wonderful. It’s a perfect place to enjoy great Japanese cuisine, celebrate a special occasion, or simply have a lovely evening. Highly recommended!

The food was decent and I liked the overall atmosphere. The look and feel of the place is great. What I wasn’t keen on was the service, or lack there of. We barely saw our waiter and had to flag a random staff member down to get the check and to-go plates. They dropped everything off and were moving everywhere else around the restaurant until we flagged them down. They had just opened, so it wasn’t crowded, it just seemed like they were still prepping to open. It wasn’t the greatest dining experience, but I do plan to go back eventually.

For people looking for a change in pallet, this Japanese restaurant is a great place to go. The atmosphere, the menu, the food presentation, and the food diversity were all superb. The restaurant is arranged in such a way as to give a variety of experiences based on your request and comfort level. The manager was very kind as they accommodated or large party.

Overall, the experience here was pretty decent. The pork bugolgi and miso soup are great but I wasn’t crazy about some of the side dishes (which took forever for me to even figure out what they were going to be since they don’t have the side dishes listed on the menu and the staff seemed to not understand what I was talking about when I tried to inquire about what the side dishes would be). The service was alright, the staff seemed to be rushing everywhere but at least our waitress would check on us and refill our drinks. The only time we had problems with that was when we were trying to get the check (it took 15 minutes to actually be able to flag down a random server for our check and an additional 20 minutes for it to arrive). I also was confused as to why my friend and I were sat at a table that was out in the open instead one of the secluded rooms. When I asked, I was told it was “for people with reservations” but we were never asked if we had reservations and we saw other patrons being sat immediately at secluded areas so that felt a bit uncomfortable (especially since we were the only black people in there).

My wife and I ate here and it’s amazing. Food was great. Service was great. Everyone was hustling about staying busy. The place is really beautiful. And it’s not that expensive. Absolutely no complaints. The picture was my wife’s pork. I ate my sushi before we could get a photo.

I went when they opened and loved the place. I haven’t been for a while and had the opportunity to return for lunch. I was reminded how great it was. From the appetizers to the sushi my lunch was great. I love fried sushi and thoroughly enjoyed my spicy crunchy California roll.

We had family dinner at Yokohama this weekend and always enjoy the restaurant. We each -the four of us, always receive outstanding service (as in the typical Korean restaurant style) and the food comes quick, is always hot, and very tasty. We always have enough to eat the next day.
We ordered gyoza (fried dumplings), vegetable tempura, cheesed pork tonkatsu, beef bulgogi, and seafood tofu soup. We shared the vegetable sides and each received soup with our meals.
They also have a full sushi menu which we usually enjoy from. The sushi is usually very good. I’d recommend the restaurant.

The atmosphere was very nice. We got taken into a semi private room. I ordered one of the combos with sushi and udon. Side dishes tasted great. I really enjoyed the cucumber picked side dish but a warning that it is a bit spicy. The udon was spot on and delicious! Sushi was too but maybe a little too much sauce making it too sweet for my taste. But all the same, very delicious! I think food prices were a little high around Montgomery but considering any Japanese restaurant in US is priced high, not bad.

Pretty nice restaurant. I had the Pork Cutlet. ITS MASSIVE!! I also had the edamame, pork dumplings, and the sweet potato tempura. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good. I had a few issues but nothing that would prevent me from returning.
1. The sweet potato tempura was sliced a bit too thick(millimeters), so it was a bit crunchy. More than it should have been.
2. The table I sat at was not made for tall people. I’m 6’3” for reference.
3. The pork dumplings were bland.
Again, these were my observations and in no way mean it’s a bad restaurant. I’ll be going back. Just wanted to pass the information on.
