Girl at the window was incredibly rude, didn’t communicate why I was sitting there almost five minutes. She was too busy yelling for someone to take over her headset. Didn’t give me my drink until I pointed out I was missing it. Her manager was nearby and didn’t say anything to her or even seem to care. Didn’t ask if I need ketchup, but there’s about 15 pepper packets in my bag. One sandwich is smashed and the fries are half empty. Only reason I’m even giving them two stars is the poor girl who made my shake apologized, and they managed to remember the extra pickles.

Gave me ends of lemons for my tea. See pic. Hubby had to flag down server for refill of his coffee. My ice tea was weak, like they reused the tea bags to brew it. No greetings when we entered. Had BBQ shooters and fries with cups of chili. Had to remind server to bring our chili, which was bland. Hubby went into bathroom and grabbed us some toilet paper to use as napkins as we didn’t get any or silverware except for spoon for chili. Our server watched him get the toilet paper and STILL DIDN’T BRING ANY NAPKINS! Our servers name was Morwin. Cashier Markeyta took off drinks at register so all we paid for was food. I think it should have been other way around, take off food and charge us for drinks, as our drinks was the only thing we did finish. Positively won’t be back to this Steak n Shake. See pictures.

Glad to finally leave Steak ‘n Shake!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!! We were there for over an hour!!! The servers messed up my dad’s order three times and forgot multiple items so we had to repeatedly ask for them. We complained how many times, and they said the servers weren’t trained properly. At least three tables of people got up and walked out, and at least six tables of people were complaining as well because they were still waiting on food or their orders were messed up. Our waitress tried to blame it on the cooking staff and told us that they were stressing her out; she told us to not be afraid to come back… Yeah, right. It’s pretty bad when six tables are talking to each other back and forth about how terrible the service is.

I have visited this location several times and have hoped each time that the service and cleanliness of this store would improve. It seems that each time that I go there (only because it is the closest to my home) the service time to take my order is lengthy and so is the time to deliver it after my order is placed.
I don’t know how often that somebody sweeps and mops the floor but, it’s not often enough. Almost every visit it feels like my shoes are going to stick to the floor.
I like the Steak n Shake food but, if there was a more convenient store to go to that is cleaner with better service, that’s where I would be eating.

Waitress took nearly 10 minutes to get up from the counter, but was at least nice. She did forget our order, parts of, but that wasn’t too bad. Bathroom was disgusting with sticky floors and an overflowing trash container. Woman who took my money was rude, talked over me even though I did not complain, just rude and never acknowledged anything I did say. All in all a miserable place to eat-and we used to eat there quite often. Something bad has happened there.

I was pleasantly surprised. Last few times I’ve been at this Steak and Shake service was horrible food was cold the staff acted like they couldn’t care less if you were there or not. Against what I thought was my better judgment I went there on request of my wife. Didn’t really want to. Glad I did got a new manager has totally turned the place around I highly recommend if you want a fantastic steak burger and a delicious milk Shake you need to go to the Steak and Shake period. I was extremely pleased at the turn around this Steak and Shake made. it was like night and day. My congratulations to the new manager at Steak and Shake you’ve got the ship sailing in the right direction!

It is unfathomable that the service here is consistently, pathetically slow. It has always been this way which is so sad, but this time took the cake! It took 30 minutes to take our order and another hour to get part of our food. We had to leave before our shakes were made. We were told they sent a couple of servers home because of a bad attitude. Not sure what the deal is but corporate needs to come in and take care if it!

Food was great. Service was lousy. Ordered Chocolate Fudge Brownie shake was given a chocolate shake with 2 chunks of brownie on top. Took forever for both to come out, but at least we were waited on unlike the tables around us, mind you they weren’t busy and it wasn’t shift change. Never got refills or silverware. And had to ask for napkins.

I ordered 2 $4 meals and a milkshake in drive through I was in like for 25mins when we finely got to the window I asked to add a second shake because life wife was thirsty after the long wait they proceeded to tell me if they was to add a second shake they would have to pull me forward and take care of the person behind me first. Even after me long wait, I decided to leave me meal there and I WILL not be coming back to this place ever again.

Worst Steak ‘n Shake we have ever been to! It took 15 minutes to get our food from the drive thru. When our shakes came out the cups had caramel all over the sides and the girl at the window acted as tho it was an inconvenience when I asked for napkins to wipe it up. When our food finally came out the fries were cold and the burgers were tough and dry. We will never be back to this place!
