A great place to play pool and listen to live music. The bartenders are friendly and very cool. There are only 2 pool tables, and you should bring your own stick if you have one. A very fun place to hang.

I had walked by this local Bar and Grill, many times, but never was brave enough to venture in. Perhaps always a little intimated to trying a new place, especially bars. I just like setting and chilling out perhaps having a nice beer on tap, and some good food. Well I found Elmer’s Bar & Grill a nice place to do just that. Went in between 12-3pm on a Thur afternoon. Discovered they were serving tacos for only a $1.00 a taco. They were beef tacos in the hard shell. I ordered 2, and small basket of fries. (All of it was great!) The tacos really hit the spot. Since I was considering going to the Taco Time just two more blocks down the street. The Tacos at Elmer’s far outweighed any thing I would have received at Taco Time. And far far better price on top of that.
Did not order beer, just a soda.
But found the atmosphere or decor, to be like “back home Iowa or Midwest vibe” with locals “shooting the breeze” (talking or conversation). It was relaxing and good food to top it off, on this visit. Also liked the way they had it decorated for Halloween.

It’s a dive bar, plain and simple. Cheap drinks, good food, cheap and tasty taco’s, pull tabs! Atmosphere is not Elmer’s strong suit, but if you need a drink and some food, this is your place! Service is excellent!

Elmer’s is the perfect local dive for a fun night out. They host fantastic live cover bands on the weekends that bring an incredible energy to the place, making it a favorite among locals. The drinks are well-made and reasonably priced, making it easy to enjoy a few without breaking the bank. With its laid-back atmosphere and great music, it is an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a lively night with friends. I can’t recommend this place enough for a weekend outing.

Low-key one of the most lit bars for the middle age crowd in Burien. We were definitely the youngest ones there and we’re in our 30s but the energy was good so Who cares? We came super early and there wasn’t a ton of people there, but there is stuff to do like pool and pull tabs. There are lots of places to sit and it’s a pretty large bar. We noticed that the very large stage was being set up for a band so we came back late night and the place was hopping. Definitely couples dancing, great music and a really lovely crowd of people. There was one creeper there getting in our faces, but the bar folks had our back and said he was just the typical ridiculous regular. We noticed that they serve food too, but we didn’t eat there so can’t vouch for that. The servers were maybe a little cold to begin with but warmed up when they noticed, we weren’t a bunch of hipsters trying to move in on their space just some curious Burienites, wondering what was going on behind the doors of Elmer’s.

friend was playing in the band that night. they have good bar food plus some extra specialty entrees. they have a couple of pool tables separate from the main eating and dance area which is nice. the ladies were hustling that night to take care of all drink and food orders. good rotation of bands as well so not a bad place to check out especially if in the area.

Boater Girl
Great neighborhood bar with live music on the weekend. You have to order food and drinks at the bar which isn’t my preference. The menu has a decent variety and the staff is usually pretty pleasant to interact with.
