The steaks we had were undercooked, fatty and cold. Asked for a fresh baked potato because the first one was very cold. They were both cold. I would not recommend this location, come if you want fresh rolls but that’s about it.
Mia helped us pick out our steaks, made note of the exact ones we chose, then was kind enough to grab extra rolls and extra honey butter! She was so sweet, friendly and kind! Then Breanna immediately showed up to take our orders and was also bubbly, kind and so attentive! Then a manager swung by the table and checked in on us – which is a nice touch during such a busy, hectic time of day. This really speaks to their intentionality in spite of the craziness of it all.
The steaks were incredibly good! I chose the thick-cut 8 oz NY Strip with a loaded baked potato & salad. The salad was just perfectly crisp with all the right stuff. The fresh grated cheddar was perfection. The croutons were fresh, buttery and melted in your mouth (I love croutons like that – not the ones that will break your tooth if you’re not paying close attention). The ranch was really good. The potato was perfection! The sea salt on the outside was a nice touch if not a little much though (not complaining). He chose a huge ribeye and both of our steaks were cooked medium and absolutely perfect!
It was a great dinner!
However, when I arrived home, I noticed my salmon appeared to be closer to 6 oz rather than the 8 oz I ordered. I also ordered a side of sautéed onions, which are usually served in a separate cup. Instead, the onions were placed in the same container as my salmon and sweet potato. I didn’t care for having my sweet potato mixed in the same container with the onions.
I’ve always enjoyed my experiences here, so I wanted to share this feedback in hopes of better consistency.
My server, Dani, was absolutely excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He checked in at just the right times, kept our drinks refilled, and had such a positive attitude that it truly made the meal even more enjoyable. It’s clear he genuinely cares about providing great service.
I also really appreciated the professionalism of the manager. I had a coupon from a previous visit that had expired, and they were kind enough to honor it anyway. That level of customer care speaks volumes about how much they value their guests and want their guests to return.
Overall, the food was great, the service was outstanding thanks to Dani, and the management went above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We were also pleasantly surprised to learn about a promotion for a free appetizer with the purchase of an 18 oz ribeye (or larger), and Cindy made sure it was honored without any hassle. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!
