One of my favorite spots to get ice cream or milkshakes in town. They also have a lot of savory food options, but I have to admit that I’ve never tried. I always stop in when I have a sweet tooth so usually go for the dipped ice cream cone or a malt milkshake. They have a large parking lot attached and service is always very fast and very friendly. There are only outdoor tables, no inside seating, so it’s more popular for to-go orders. It’s a true throwback to the old school Stop & Shop soda bars that used to be all over LA. It’s nice that a few of these remain and eating here gives you a true dose of nostalgia.
I have tried many of their dessert options but this past visit we ordered a Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Ice Cream Cone, a Cherry Malt Shake, and a Banana Malt Shake. All 3 were a great sweet treat but I would say the Cherry Malt was my favorite. You don’t see that option often so it was nice to have those flavors. I would recommend to anyone searching for a low price dessert or food option. I shall be back again soon next time I am feeling the urge for sweets.

We love this place for their chocolate dipped cones ❤️ my husband and I try to come every summer. Right now is winter but we decided to bring the kids after a day at the park and they loved it! This place is very affordable, well lit and lots of parking. It’s also so close to our house we highly recommend the chocolate dipped cones and banana split. I believe you can even add toppings to the cone like peanuts. We definitely recommend this for the family and just as a quick ice cream craving. I was Around the old Neighborhood with my Son Adrian?. And he wanted some ice cream so I bought him one from here… this is my 1ST time coming here. I was surprised to find Burgers and Food here, I thought they only Sold Ice cream milkshakes… A very nice Surprise though NEXT time I’ll TRY me the Burgers

I’ve always passed this little shop since moving here and never had a chance to try them out. But today we decided to stop and try their stuff and I’m so happy we did. The onion rings were great, the banana split was solid but to our surprise the triple berry cheesecake twister was amazing. I love cheesecake and the twister was filled with it, almost every bite it was cheesecake, berries and ice cream.

Haven’t had the food in a minute, but the menu still looks good. Must try their Strawberry Cheesecake parfait or their Coffe mud shake! This is my childhood Fosters and hasn’t changed.

I agree with the other reviews about this place not being what it used to be. The employees are rude. I went with a big group to grab burgers and ice cream. We had a few orders and spent around $80 on food. I went to the window and asked for ranch and the employee came off rude and said I can only give you one, after that its 50 cents each. I told her we had a few orders and we ordered a good amount of food. She said rudely and loudly “it doesn’t matter how many orders you have its 1 for your whole group. Lol…well ok. Honestly there are plenty of great burger places in LA with great service and cleanliness. This is not one of them any more unfortunately.
