My name is Aurora. I ordered from this restaurant 2 different orders. They only gave me one order when I asked for 2 orders of the same thing. There was supposed to be 4 plates in total. They also told me 10 min over the phone. I got there in 10min just to wait 30min more. My order was soggy bc they made sure my order was given sloppy. The corn bread has no sugar. The biscuits are rubbery, don’t order unless you like your biscuits like. Juice was leaking from my bag.

Okay, the food is perfect, great selection of home cooked favorites, you can’t go wrong on any plate you serve yourself. Peach and blueberry cobbler for your sweet tooth. We eat here every time we go to Darlington with friends. The only thing that is not 5 stars is the styrofoam plates and plastic utinels. But the service is great. Worth a stop!

It’s been years since I’ve been here so we decided to try it out. Very small buffet, not too many meats to choose from outside the fried chicken, turkey and ham. The usual sides and not.many desserts to choose from. Very awkward setup and not much room without bumping into other people and or staff trying to make Togo plates and cutting the line. All in all your average country buffet. Nothing stands out or gives you the WOW factor. Very bland and unseasoned. If you live in darlington and don’t wish to drive no further then this is your place. But if your wanting to travel there are better options for southern food. My advice is to make the drive.. save your money and spend it elsewhere.

This place is a childhood personal favorite. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was little ♥️. Me and mom jumped in the car and visited for lunch today with the kiddo. Small changes have occurred over the years but it is pretty much still the same. Delicious food, fabulous sweet tea , and good memories! I absolutely recommend the biscuits, the tea, and the banana pudding!!

I assume the paper plates and plastic spoons are cost saving but it’s difficult to eat the meats and some veg with plastic forks and spoons. The price you charge should cover a dishwasher like you had before. The food is a hit and miss on some days chicken is dry cornbread always dry biscuits dry whats going on with the cooks. I often stop in but I haven’t in awhile because service is poor girls don’t come around ask do we need more drinks. Have to sit there till they look your way to get there attention maybe you should talk to them about that maybe that’s why they don’t get tips.

I found a string of material in my food. Some other employee across the way says: that’s a string off the turkey ( had TOTALLY nothing to do with it, well ma’am I’m intelligent enough to know the difference between a thread and meat!) I asked for a refund, the response: we don’t give refunds, but we just changed the pan to a fresh pan. Well Amber….good luck if you think for a moment I believe that. Might not be now but this restaurant will have to answer to a higher power.

My sister placed an order for 5 plates. They asked her to check the plates before leaving and she did. When she brought the plates home, I told her my daughter’s rice and gravy side was missing. I called the restaurant and spoke to the Manager. She looked the order up to confirm it was placed. She told me to bring the plate back up there so they can remake it. I told her I took a picture of the plate and my daughter was currently eating it because she was hungry. I’m very disappointed that the only way to fix their mistake is to bring the plate back vs you can come pick up the side, offer a credit or even a dessert. To remake a whole plate……No, she’s a child. I’m not about to stop her from eating at that moment when she was anticipating the food. I’m so irritated with them. I’ve worked in two restaurants and their customer service expectations were impeccable. I hope B&B change their process.
