This Bob’s Burger & Brew is in a beautiful location. The restaurant is in a rustic log cabin surrounded by trees. The food and service were excellent . The little potatoes crisps made my mouth very happy.

We came here with the family. Great experience here at the restaurant with the service and atmosphere. Seating options for big and small groups. The restaurant’s exterior and interior have a lodge-type and cozy feeling.
We ordered the cheese burger slides with sides, and BBQ pulled pork burger with sides as shown in the photo below.
Additionally, the restaurant was not busy during the weekend at around noon time. The food was served promptly. However, the Cheese Burger Slide was warm inside and not as hot as I preferred. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The washrooms are clean and tidy. Food options are good. Prices are comparable to other restaurants. Food portions are decent. Parking is ample with parking places around the restaurant.

I recently visited Bob’s Burger in Sumas and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we had to seat ourselves at a vacant table that hadn’t been cleaned properly from previous customers, which was off-putting.
As loyal patrons of Bob’s Burger in Blaine, we’ve always enjoyed their excellent service and homemade-style burgers. However, the quality at this location was noticeably lacking. The burger patties were thin and seemed almost frozen, quite different from the thicker, more homemade patties we’re used to. I ordered my burger rare, but it came out medium well. After sending it back, it was returned the same way again, which was frustrating.
Our server initially saw us sitting down but continued chatting with friends instead of attending to us. After about 10 minutes, she finally came over to our dirty table, which we had requested to be wiped down, and then took our order. I specifically emphasized that I wanted my burger rare, but it seems the message didn’t get through.
Overall, the service was not great, and the quality definitely differs from the Blaine location. I hope they can improve in these areas, as we had high expectations based on our previous experiences.

Mandy is the BEST server of all time! She is soooo amazing and attentive. We didn’t have to ask for ANYTHING, she was on it! Everything came super fast every time. She also had a great playlist (that was from her personal Spotify, I asked) that had a wonderful range of different genres of music (all great). She took her time and asked any questions we had. No bad vibes at all. Mandy is AMAZING! You should just go to the sumas bobs for the experience alone… just make sure Mandy is there 😉 (PS.. she might spell her name Mandie or a different way, I don’t know I’m just winging it.) A+ experience!!!

I was down in Sumas to pick up some items I had sent from Japan, since there’s no shipping between Canada and Japan at the moment. I saw the big burger sign and had a craving for a burger. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and hello from the bartender. I was welcomed to sit outside and since it was a beautiful day I took a seat on the patio. The server came up to me within 30 seconds and was very friendly and pleasant. I scanned thru the menu and ordered the bbq burger! It was awesome. The meat was piping hot, juicy and grilled perfectly. The bun was robust and fresh. The toppings were very generous and sides of fries and salad were very appealing to the eyes and palate. The croutons were even home made. The bottomless soda drinks were really great! I had root beer, Pepsi and seven up! I would definitely go back there next time I’m in Sumas.
