We drove through yesterday at approximately 1pm and ordered $35 worth of food. Everything but the 3 Tacos tasted very bad like it had been sitting a couple of hours. The oil tasted and smelled old and everything had a chemical process taste like it sat since the morning rush. I’ve never had this happen at a Del Taco. Maybe replace the oil and make everything fresh.

Went through drive thru at 11:25pm. Ordered fish tacos, lady taking the order said the fryer is being cleaned asked if we wanted to wait 5 min. We said yes and she sighed and had an attitude towards us. Sounded very irritated. After paying at the window they turned all the store lights off, got our food and pulled away and they turned them back on. Personally that’s not very good customer service and believe she could have done much better. Wish I got a name but no name tag.

My first job was Del Taco and this is the first time I have been taken back to that quality and goodness. I’ve eaten at the Broadway store, the Franklin store in Boise and the 12th Ave store in Nampa. But the store on 21st street in Caldwell is far superior that any of them. My hat goes off to them.

For $10 you get a burrito as thick as a pinky is long, packed with raw french fries and specks of meat. Go to any of the 20 food trucks, fast food, and restaurants in a mile radius and you will get a better deal.

For starters no one had their name tags on so I can’t really give names but the cashier that took my order such a sweetheart. He was fantastic, but what I think is the people cooking at restaurant 606 n 21st ave caldwell, idaho need to learn put the food together and cut it the way its supposed to. I was so disappointed. Also my fries were not cooked all the way so I didnt even bother eating them. My other half’s fries weren’t cooked all the way either so he didnt bother eating them. They went to the trash as well. The lobby was a mess and tables were clean some were even sticky. All in all other looked like are food was just smashed together or piled on. The only thing good was are drinks.

I picked up an order there today around 5pm. It was not busy at all. I was at the counter for about five minutes before I was recognized. The kid that was making the food had greasy hair. His hat covered his eyes so low he had to look up to see anything. His pants were so low down his butt that his boxer underwear were very visable. When he finished the order I was waiting for he shoved it into n the delivery shelf and did not say a word. I was so disgusted i overlooked that the order included a drink. The cup was never provided. So unprofessional and I feel bad for the person who ordered this. Would never recommend anyone order from this location through Uber eats.
