I was very disappointed to drive an hour for horrible fried fish. Fish fried in very old grease. Wings were way too salty greens have way too many stems. This is not the AJ FISH I’m used too. I ordered red snapper what I got was something different. This has got to be new owners. BTW, I drove from Riverside for horrible food.

is lacking flavor but cooked ok, fish is the same- just not a lot of flavor, greens were good and potatoes salad is a “c” , mac’n cheese was ok but still a “c” , the peach cobbler is a sweet but heavy spice taste. overall 2.5 out of 5

I just got the red snapper combo with the fried shrimp hush puppies and sweet potato fries … & honestly I was not a fan of that fish I couldn’t finish it . I should have just ordered all shrimp sweet potato fries kinda tasted old but the shrimp and hush puppies were decent . Wish I could have finished my moneys worth .

I dropped in AJ’s fish market in order to grab some fish and chips. How long was seeing what they had on the menu. After overlooking the menu, we ordered the red snapper five-piece with two sides, which were macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. Johnny, who helped us at the counter, was very polite and had a good smile. I was a little disappointed in the fish was very small thin and not a lot of meat to it. I also ordered a piece of catfish to see what that was like, and it had a little more meat than the red snapper and tasted okay. The fish seem to be a little overcooked and a little dry. The coleslaw and mac and cheese we’re pretty tasty. My dad, who accompanied me, rated the fish to be 3 out of 10, and I gave it a 5 out of 10. The side dishes were 6 out of 10. Cheers

I would like to first start off by saying the prices are fair and reasonable. I read a previous review that mentioned they were disappointed in the fact that the prices went up and will be taking their business elsewhere. I say let them go. Anyone capable of logical thinking knows that the cost of living has gone up everywhere, especially when it comes to buying food. I would be willing to bet that even though the prices went up, the profit margin went down. The quality however, was outstanding and I will definitely be back. The service was kind and friendly, and the food was outstanding.

This was the first time here. The individuals were friends and were very attentive. They give you a lot of food. It was flavorful and came out hot. It was even yummy the next day reheated in the toaster oven. Definitely will be going back.

We came from Murietta to Aj’s Fish Market and it was well worth the drive. You will not be disappointed, everything was delicious. The fried Chicken was amazing , the potato salad was great, the Kool Aid was fire, the fried catfish and jumbo shrimp was cooked perfectly and nothing was greasy or burned The food was fresh and good We will definitely be coming back again.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars so bad becuhs i heard nothing but POSITIVE reviews. Unfortunately the customer service needs a course or two. The black man who answered the phone was so short with my brother, snappy, condescending and rude. He had no patience what so ever. I understand not everyone has a good day but as a business owner or employee don’t take that out on your patrons.
We spent $150 with them. He even asked if we could pay for the order over the phone before he made it (lol) no big deal.. we did it anyway. Once he was reminded who my brother was (who had been there previously and even left a 5 star review of his experience) his attitude changed.
Needless to say, the shrimp & chicken are FIRE! Mac & cheese was bland. The greens were good and the fish could be better.
I would still recommend you give them a try.
