Japanese restaurant along Northern Blvd near Utopia Parkway and Francis Lewis. Used to be good, but quality dipped a bit, but still a decent spot giving 4 stars. Tip is included in the check. They have some seasonal items on the menu as well, the sukiyaki shown in the picture is a winter special. Otherwise, decent Japanese spot, nothing too fancy.

As far as authentic ramen spots, this place hits all of the marks. Between the calm, quiet atmosphere and the welcoming service, you’d feel right at home. My party of 3 and I stopped by for the lunch special, we had our own individual ramen sets for $20, which came with a ramen of our choosing, an onigiri and gyoza. We left more than satisfied with our food, and the pricing was very generous for Flushing. Best ramen spot I’ve been to thus far, and I’d like to thank Alex for being so attentive and for making our experience one to remember!

The food was delicious! me and my boyfriend got the ramen set for tonkastu ramen and it was great. We struggle to find an authentic place after coming back from Japan over here, but this one is definitely authentic I would advise to give it a try! They also have a good selection of Japanese alcohol

TLDR: Hashi is one of those places that’s great if you don’t know what you want to eat. The ramen is decent, the curry is arguably the best item along with the izakaya small plates.

I feel like I found this place late but it’s a decent neighborhood option. The menu has changed many times but the ramen is decent and the curry is probably the best dish you can order.

The small fried plates are good too. It’s a place that has a lot of options and when you’re not sure what to get – you’ll find something.

Almost like a diner. Reasonable prices, good for a quick bite.

Katsu chicken curry, spicy tonkotsu, chashu pieces. These items we ordered. Place has air condition. The food were tasty but charshu would need some extra flavor as it seem a bit bland.

I had the oden, it is alright but not great and the presentation needs work. Service was obviously slow and I was the only customer, but how could someone forget to put my appetizer when I asked for it before the main?

I was here a few years ago. I didn’t had a good experience here when I had ramen and it was terrible. This will be my last visit and I rarely had bad experience at the same restuarant twice. I had to put that here.

Me and my fiancée go out to eat ramen pretty regularly and she is currently pregnant. This is not a typical spot we go to and had seen that the rating was good and decided we would give it a shot. I don’t think it was a good idea at all. I would have rather went to Mr. KeKe’s Ramen & Dim Sum for a proper bowl of ramen. I ordered a hotpot noodle with a very peculiar tasting broth that I could not put my finger on. It was like someone marinated their feet in hot water after working in construction with a shrimp tempura, fish cakes, vegetable and chicken. Definitely not something I would give to a starving homeless person in a shelter and that says a lot coming from someone like me. My fiancée had miso ramen with some of my noodles in it. I swear I did not put it in there for a picture either! This is real life. Her broth was so salty and had a sweet aftertaste to it at the end too. That probably explains the indistinguishable flavors I was tasting, probably because our food was probably not even prepared properly? I don’t know. I even asked for chili paste and they came back with something that smelled, tasted and looked like sesame oil. I was not even going to go back and forth with the server. Don’t even get me started with that guy either. I don’t know what was worse, his stinking breath when he huffed and puffed when I asked about the dishes they served, his attitude when I said I was not taking the “chili oil” or the food overall. I am only speaking from my own personal, one-time experience but boy this was so garbage I had to tell the internet. Be warned. I put 2 stars because the place looks so much better than it tastes.

The food was good for late night eats. Considering the time we went (11pm), the wait time was not too long at all.

I had the spicy tonkotsu ramen, it had a good spice level. The noodles had a nice chew and bounce, definitely loved that. The chashu (3) pieces were soft and tender, had a decent char, nicely seasoned. I just wish the broth was a bit more deep. But also, they added quite a lot of bean sprouts to the ramen. I appreciated the different texture it gave, but it was just a whole lot more than expected, especially for something we didn’t ask for.

We had the takoyaki, but it was 4 for $8. It was good though, about 1-3 octopus chunks per ball.

The peach tomomasu was so pleasant and nice. The sake piko (calpico with sake) wasn’t bad. But they don’t give you the whole bottle of calpico, just take it to the back and pour it into a wine glass.

The service wasn’t bad, just not exceptionally good. We were served and waited on quite efficiently, in and out service.
