Had the restaurant week menu. The pork with polenta tasted fantastic. I would put a bit less sauce- so the polenta won’t drawn in it. I decided to add fries- cause they looked good and they were. First order of fries was a bit over salted- the second was just right.
Salad and bread pudding excellent. And I’m not a dessert person. Loved it was not overly sweet.

Came here due to great reviews online and our Airbnb guest book having rave reviews as well. Understated cozy spot with DELICIOUS food and lovely service. Tight quarters but food was to DIE for. Moroccan chicken was incredible and the kale salad was fresh and delightful. Burger was quality meat with crisp pickled onions and truffle fries that were made to perfection. We didn’t have room for dessert but the table next to us swore the bread pudding was perfect. Get the radio-coteau Pinot for a treat.

this place is hands down the best local restaurant in Guerneville, don’t miss if you visit! we waited for about 25 mins around 5:30p and got a seat inside.
the service was incredible and food was mindblowing! We tried a mix of dishes, and it was such a memorable meal:
the Brussels sprouts were the only miss for me — too salty and sour from the lemon (2/5). But everything else completely made up for it. skip this if you can, or maybe we were just unlucky last night
the roasted squash with goat cheese was a dream (5/5) — perfectly caramelized, creamy, and comforting. this one was actually their special, the best squash i’ve ever had
then came the mac and cheese — hands down one of the best I’ve had. The crispy breadcrumbs on top gave it that extra crunch, and the balance between the creaminess, cheese, and mushroom texture was just perfect (5/5).
the cod was another standout (5/5): beautifully cooked, tender, and paired brilliantly with forbidden rice, fresh carrots, radish, and roasted peanuts. Such a thoughtful combination of textures and flavors.
and to finish — the chocolate brownie with salted caramel (5/5). Wow. Light as a cloud, perfectly balanced sweetness, and that hint of salt to tie it all together. The ideal ending to a fantastic meal

We came here twice in the same week while vacationing near Guerneville because the food was so good! I really wanted to try the brussel sprouts I’ve heard so much about, but both times we went they were out. But the other starters were still incredibly delicious! Everything we had was surprisingly balanced in flavors, textures, and portions. We finished everything which is rare!

Came and put our name on the waitlist. They had an annex next door with seating as well. There were big group tables which was nice. Steak was cooked a bit under what was asked for but tasted well. Company liked the Mac and cheese though I thought it was a hit creamy. I liked that we could buy a round of beers for the kitchen.

Okay first, after reading a lot of reviews, this was rated as semi upscale. And I finally understand. The prices are definitely upscale but you can dress casual.
Second, all pictures and reviews mentioning dogs are old. So yes
They do have a covered patio with heaters where they allow dogs. Space is small so I’m sure it fills up quick.
Now food: AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING!
we had the Mac and cheese (you can’t miss this), brussel sprouts, burger, chicken bowl, polenta and honestly? We all loved every single dish equally. So so good.
Staff is nice too!

We were looking forward to dining at Boon, as we’d read about it before we arrived in town. They don’t take bookings which is fair. However we spoke to the hostess late afternoon asking if they could hold a table for the evening. She said to come back at 7 and join the wait list. Which we did, and she explained we’d need to come back at 8. Fine. However on returning at 8, other walk ins were seated before us, and we didn’t get seated until 8:30. It just makes no sense.
The food – brilliant. Our server was wonderful. Atmosphere was a little stale. Value for money pretty good. Would we return? Probably – but only after checking out some other places in town!

Okay so I just found my new favorite restaurant in Sonoma county. The food was absolutely scrumptious and hit the spot. I have never had a better mac n cheese than their mushroom Mac n cheese. I cannot wait to return!

Great atmosphere, yummy food, nice servers. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at boon. 40 minute wait on a Friday evening, but we just walked around downtown and the time passed quickly. One small note: Would have appreciated more attention to our water — it ran out and our server didn’t come back for quite a while.

We came here with a large group and they were very accommodating. There isn’t a lot of seating to begin with, so the fact they were able to seat all of us speaks volumes to how hospitable the staff are. The burgers were all amazing but the appetizers were the most memorable dishes.
