My friends and I had brunch here today, and I loved the modern diner vibes and Asian-fusion dishes!

The staff were so warm and friendly. They seemed just genuinely happy, and open to engaging in conversation with us while we waited for our table, even though it was busy.

I had the big trouble breakfast sandwich and the filet o shrimp sandwich. I liked both, but the breakfast sandwich was my favourite. The milk bread was so soft and fresh, and it was the perfect fusion of flavours (savoury, with some sweetness) and textures (soft bread, crisp hashbrown). The banana pudding was good, but could’ve used more banana slices (there were only 2 to 3 pieces in the entire bowl).

Overall, I would definitely dine here again! Also, the early 2000s millennial playlist was the cherry on top!

Susie’s Diner absolutely lives up to the hype. From the moment we sat down, our server Kat was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. She took the time to guide us through the menu, and every recommendation she made was amazing.

We ordered the pancakes, Big Trouble breakfast sandwich, tuna melt, and banana pudding-everything was outstanding. The portions were generous, the quality was top-tier, and the overall experience was flawless.

Amazing food and standout service. If you’re looking for the best breakfast in the city, this is it. We’ll definitely be back.

Finally got to try out this spot after so long. I came here on a Friday morning, no wait. My friend had been here before but we wanted to servers to provide recommendations and they did a great job.

We had the filet-o-shrimp and was recommended the tuna melt and pancakes. The filet-o-shrimp tasted like a delish Japanese sando with their twist of changing up the bread and adding the cheese. While the tuna melt had chips inside that balanced out Japanese tartar sauce. Now the pancake, even though it says lemon, it’s not heavy which I really liked. Their pancake was delicious and super crispy on the edges.

I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu but will always reorder the pancake cause it left me wanting more.

Braved a snow storm this morning and hiked to this amazing place.

Impeccable service, cute vibes and a whole lot of amazing food. Guys, you can feeeel the love and care that goes into each dish.

We tried the pancakes (obviously!) , the big breakfast sandwich and the chicken wings ( underrated but please try it). Everything tasted so good and fresh. Our server ( apologies I couldn’t get her name) was so kind and we had such a good conversation with her. We weren’t rushed and we enjoyed our meal to the core.

They also have a dinner service now and we can’t wait to try that.

Shoutout to the amazing staff at Susie’s ❤️❤️

We had a great brunch experience definitely worth the hype (and the line!) with our walk-in.
The food was incredible, fresh, flavourful, and perfectly presented. My favourites were the Big Trouble Breakfast Sandwich and the Tuna Melt. Definitely coming back!

I can’t say enough great things about our experience at Susie’s, and it was well worth the 90 minute drive to try it! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated at the counter. A waitress gave us a rundown of the menu and suggested the more popular items. We had a great view of the food being cooked and hearing the staff all playfully interact with each other made them seem like family. My husband and I split The Big Trouble Breakfast Sandwich and the pancakes. The sandwich came out first (we appreciated that everything isn’t served at the same time), and it was phenomenal! There was a slight hiccup with the pancakes, but we were served complimentary hashbrowns while we waited and they were amazing! The pancakes were unlike any other pancake we’ve had before, and the lemon zest on top gave it a nice fresh flavour. The GM, Liben, personally thanked us for coming, and even gave us complimentary banana cream pudding for the drive home (which was 10/10!). Safe to say we’ll be back to try the dinner menu soon! Thanks for the great service and food

When I tell y’all this is the best breakfast I’ve had in the city, and one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Georgia and the rest of the team were so attentive and sweet, and everything was so well-considered from the space, to the entire menu.

Must try: freshly squeezed orange juice, the pancakes (oh my god the pancakes), the hash browns, the pigs in blankets, the banana pudding. Everything was awesome and we’re already planning on coming back the next time we have a date night out. Thank you team for making our late valentines celebration special <3

We had a really good dinner! Beyond the great food, the service was fantastic overall—everyone from the management to the serving staff was sweet and attentive. A special shout-out to our server, Lila P, easy to deal with, and made the whole meal run smoothly.
Three dishes in particular stood out and are definitely worth ordering:
• Tokyo Caesar: This was a nice surprise. A refreshing and flavorful salad that’s a good alternative to the standard Caesar.
• Breakfast Fried Rice: A comforting and hearty dish. The crispy fried shallots on top added a great texture that elevated it.
• Banana Pudding: It was the perfect rich, sweet finish to the meal.
We also had the Susie’s Hot Chicken Tenders and some drinks, which were perfectly fine. Highly recommend the dishes above, and the excellent staff made the experience even better!

It’s so refreshing when a hyped up place is worth it. The best item IMO was the wings – so plump and generously sauced. Pancakes of course were delightful. Hashbrowns addictive. Only con is the music is SO loud lol (not to sound extremely old), it just makes it nearly impossible to talk and feels like a tactic to keep tables moving as much as possible.

Susie’s really delivers on the nostalgia of the OG Chinese dishes in their menu items. Their kung pao black cod and breakfast fried rice were so legit, and their onion rings while a bit thick for our preference, really nails the chinese salt and pepper flavours of a classic dish. Super low key spot that serves up pretty quality dishes. Lived up to expectations for sure.
