We said ok and proceeded to order. I ordered a burrito with the grilled chicken and a margarita and my wife 5 ordered chicken tacos. We brought 3 other friends with us who also ordered. My wife asked for mild salsa and was told
They had no more. My margarita was great and my friends mojito was also good. Then we finally got our food all packaged Togo even though we wanted to eat there because it was 30 degrees outside and no where else to eat. We started eating our food and exactly at 9pm the music was turned up extremely loud a the employees turned the lights down to where we could barely see. The girl mopping the floors dropped 3 chairs on the ground which was very loud and kept laughing then looked at us, every time so it felt like it was on purpose, so we decided to leave because we didnt feel welcome from the beginning and after the music and lights. I ate 1/3 of my Burrito and am now finishing it at home cold. We spent at least $75 between the 5 of us at 8:45 and felt disrespected by the staff because we came in at 8:45.
Additionally my
Burrito which was to have queso, lettuce,
Pico de gallo, rice, beans and meat only included rice Beans and meat none of the other items and was extremely dry.
A great spot for couples or families.
Just FYI, this is a casual fast food place. It’s not a traditional sit down place. However, they do sell cocktails and beer here. So if you’re looking for a traditional full experience please don’t come here, unless you want a quick bite to eat.
Let me get into why I gave this place a low 2 star rating. The main two reasons were customer service and cold food.
Upon entering and deciding what to order we were not greeted at all. The individual behind the counter was a bit on the uppity side, and so were the rest of her team. It was almost like they were reluctant serve the customers walking in. This is certainly an area of opportunity for this restaurant to improve on.
The next main reason was receiving cold food. My wife and I ordered the “arepa” stuffed with cheese and shredded chicken, and for the little one my wife ordered a ground beef taco. Fortunately, my wife was not served cold food. However, my son and I were not so fortunate because our food came to us literally cold. This was very upsetting and disappointing. To be fair, I will say that the overall quality of the food itself was very good and tasty. I would say that this is another critical area to improve upon.
Overall, the place has good potential and unique vibe. However, I will not be returning any time soon. For those who are still curious, go try the food here, just know it might be hit or miss.
