Over all food was good.. atmosphere was great! Service was ok.. everyone was nice. My fiancé said his hash brown casserole was extremely greasy( a bunch of grease drained off into the bowl).

We have been traveling often to Mebane from Va and after our first time, we can’t wait to go back. The food is so good, best coffee ever!!! Breakfast is incredible, they really make some big chains look bad. Many lunch specials I will try them all. Service is awesome, order comes out fast and perfect.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. The time I went was moderately busy around 11:30 am , but the rush settled down quickly. I was standing in line, and my name was placed on the list. I was first told that I needed to go outside to wait for my name to be called, then thankfully another employee, allowed me to have a seat at the available booth. The waitress came and took my order. The food came out quick and was delicious. However, my only main complaints are the service and the booths needing to be updated. The waitress checked on my table a couple of times , but never offered to remove plates or refill drinks. Another employee removed plates from my table twice but the waitress never came back to my table after I ate . She did give me the check while I was still eating but that’s it. I had to ask the cashier for a to go cup and she was able to accommodate since the waitress never came back. The booth near the front door appeared to be sunken in very bad and needs to be replaced . The atmosphere was good and most of the staff were friendly.

First visit in a long time, and it will be the last visit to the Mebane Grill Works. Extremely rude staff. No indication posted of whether to seat yourself. No one acknowledged costumers waiting to be seated. Apparently, you are, indeed, supposed to seat yourself. (Your’re welcome.) There’s no organization or hospitality. Just an all in all disappointing visit.
No idea how to rate the food. Just stick to the Webb Avenue location for a better all around dining experience. They have wonderful staff and great food at the Burlington location.

The staff was all super nice and my waitress was very attentive. Stopped in for breakfast yesterday and it was a good hearty southern breakfast. The scrambled eggs were made with real eggs, not the fake eggs. The sausage actually tasted like it has spice and not just a regular puck of sausage. The hash browns were relaly good. Typically hash brown are finely shredded potatoes, but these were thickly shredded. It had a different consistency and I really enjoyed that. The biscuit and pancakes were both fluffy and buttery goodness. I will absolutely come back to this location again.
Ham & Bacon – 7/10
Sausage 8.2/10
Hash browns – 8.5/10
Biscuit – 8.5/10
Pancakes – 9/10
Eggs – They were scrambled eggs/10

Quaint little spot. Fast friendly service. Hot fresh food. We ate breakfast on a Sat. around 10am. It was busy but everything ran so smoothly. The amount of food for the price is unbeatable. A great selection for breakfast and lunch. Terri was our server and she was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was very good. The service was so-so. They were not incredibly busy but it took a long time for my wife’s water to get refilled. Good variety of food even though this is listed as a breakfast place, but there are many lunch options as well.

Great high quality and fast breakfast. We all got different types of omelettes. We were quite full when we left. Friendly service, too. Recommend!

Nice country dive feel. Tasty breakfast. Country ham & bacon were cooked well, sausage and little overdone, eggs and bit under cooked. French toast was the star of my meal. Philly cheese-steak omelet was also very tasty. Will come back for sure.

Arrived Saturday morning around 915. There was a short wait of about 20 minutes and all of the parking was taken. Everyone working here was super nice and very busy. They have about 22 tables divided by 5 servers. As high as the volume was, I expected a different level of food. The food was pretty basic and for what was served, seemed rushed. The pictured eggs needed another minute. Sausage seemed pre-cooked. The omelet was a poured fold and kinda cold so that the cheese garnish couldn’t melt. The biscuit that came out with the omelet was double sized and looked nice. The sausage gravy added to it was bland. None of the food I was served was incorrect but it was just meh. The service was awesome.
