I stopped by for lunch just to see how it was. This location has had so many restaurants not make it that I wanted to make sure I left a review because this place was wonderful and we need more great spots to go to. I had the Lamb Vindaloo and it was so good. I will definitely coming back and supporting another great local restaurant!

I finally got a chance to check out Aangan Fine Indian & Nepalese Cuisine located at 600 Richmond Dr, Lancaster, PA 17601. The first attempt didn’t go well as they were busy and newly opened. I’m happy to say that this time, we were seated immediately.
As soon as you walk through the door, you’re greeted with the smell of simmering Indian spices. That’s always a nice thing!
They have a vast menu with close to 140 different items, including some dishes that aren’t common in other Indian restaurants. It can be hard to choose! Here’s what we got:
We started with Vegetable Samosas for an appetizer. They had a flaky crust and were just a tad spicy. They gave us two dipping sauces, a tamarind sauce and a mint one. The mint one was kind of funky and we both prefered the tamarind.
My wife had Chicken Xaquti. Which is a goan chicken curry cooked in a special coconut sauce. I went with the Himalayan Chicken Curry. They were accompanied by a bowl of basmati rice. I also ordered the Everest bread basket. This consisted on naan, garlic naan, and Peshawari naan.
The basket was the way to go, allowing us to try 3 different breads. It also goes well with the main dishes, as Indian food usually has a thick, delectable sauce.
I love Indian cuisine and this was no exception. Lots of spices, rich flavors, everything was so good. I saw someone else getting the tandori chicken and I’d love to back for some of that, too. This was an overall positive experience and I would recommend eating here. #indianfood #AanganRestaurant #lancasterpa #lancastercountypa

Delicious! I could smell the wafting scents from the parking lot on their Grand Opening Day. I enjoyed my first bite through my last. I got dessert to go as very full from sampling from the extensive menu. Everything was fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared. I can see the restaurant will make a name for themselves in Lancaster. Additional note: offer lamb, goat, chicken, seafood in addition to the vegetarian options.
Yes, they had an association with Aagan in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Sister restaurants include Himalayan Fusion in Harrisburg as well as Khana Indian Bistro in Hershey. The staff was very friendly and I received excellent service. Recommend you check them out soon.
Took my daughter for Girls Night Out. She finished her mango lassi drink in a heartbeat and relished the butter chicken, samosas, naan, Mo Mo chicken, and dessert. She likes mild heat and was happy she was able to order her meals for her ideal heat level.
Evening hours were busy. Recommend reservation.

Nice cool neighborhood. Food quality is good. Prices are reasonable in current time. If you are going there on Friday, expect a waiting time. Serving is not very efficient but still okay.
Overall, I will go there again.

Food was delicious. Very flavorful and they had so many options. Portions were great, wound up bringing some food home. We went on a Thursday around 4pm so we were the only ones there for a while. More people started coming in a little while later. Server was very friendly. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

Very tasty Indian restaurant. We ordered many different dishes and ALL were delicious. They tasted different as they should and the naan was perfect. The experience was very nice with cloth table cloths and napkins. Service was perfect and attentive. If you like Indian food the menu is expensive so several visits is a must.

Mulligatawny soup level 7 and Curry Lamb level 5 was warm and delicious…you leave wanting more! I wanted to eat it again for breakfast and lunch and dinner the next day. I sadly dropped my phone in my soup while taking a picture! I will go back and get it again and snap that pic. But honestly you shouldn’t need a pic! Just go get some!
