Yesterday was my first time ever stopping in. I’ve passed this location probably a few hundred times over the time it has existed. I only knew it to be a bar, and that’s not my thing, so it didn’t appeal to me. Yesterday though, my brother asked if I felt like grabbing a burger, to which I replied, where at in this area(Morriston), and he suggested The Beach. I had no idea they served food, so I asked if he had been there before. He said yes, and so we went. On the outside, it looks like the place has seen better days, but that it might have been in good shape once.
It does resemble what you might find at a beach side bar, an outdoor accessible bar, outdoor deck seating, and music playing over the speakers. There is an area where there is a bunch of beach sand, and from passing by this place for a number of years, I know it used to have a volleyball net, but that is no longer the case. It now has additional seating in this area.
Our server was polite, but not as attentive as one would like, for the few amount of people that were there. Maybe 20-25 in the whole place but this is spread over the whole building and its exterior, and she wasn’t alone.
The food was okay, and definitely cured our hunger. We both had a burger, and fries, even though he asked for tots. Both requested half sweet tea, half lemonade, and received unsweet. Not a deal breaker, but we’re from the south and we like our tea sweet.
There were your typical loud drunks, but that was expected.
The other server was helpful a few times, which did make the experience a bit better.
All in all, it wasn’t a bad time, and we might actually stop back in again for a burger, and fries.

This place was a quaint restaurant with a backyard feel on the inside! Family friendly the Food was SO Good we are going back before we leave Ocala! The service was Awesome 10/10 Highly recommend!

Got there with my family and was not greeted for the first few minutes, then had our drink order taken without any menus then finally had a chance to order so we did and put in a order for a few burgers she left came back a few minutes later and said they were out of every burger so we had to reorder all our food again so we did we changed to wings ” absolutely nasty” we sat waiting for over an hour and we’re told the fryers kept shutting down which in the mean time we were approached by “security” and was told if we were not going to eat that we had to leave cause we had the kiddos with us and they were at that point turning into a night club we had to tell him we were waiting on our food so he walked away and watched us from a distance. So needless to say we will never go back there again

What a Total disappointment! I was working in the area and passed this place on my drive, it appeared to be very charming and inviting, until….
I sat over ten minutes before I was ever approached by a server.
I ordered sweet tea but received either coke or pepsi.
I asked to exchange the beverage for a sweet tea.
I was told, sure, I’ll get you a sweet tea, but just so you know, you did order a coke.
I wait again, this time for five minutes, when the server never returned to my table. I found the manager and finally served some decent wing and delicious fries. The manager sent out a complimentary appetizer of chips and salsa, the chips were grocery store type and the salsa was not edible.
I’d never return nor would I recommend.

Everything was good here and fresh I ordered a Hamburger and I asked for tater tots instead of chips and the waitress said sure we can do that and when I got the bill the tater tots where $9.99. Ridiculous. I think she should have told me that, not just saying sure. Other then all that the food was good.

Absolutely disgusting, spent over $50.00 for a beef dip and salad for 2 and the beef dip came with potato chips, not even French fries! Beef dip had hardly any meat on it. Didn’t even deserve 1 star but had to give something. Go elsewhere if you’re looking for a decent meal!!
Update: picture is what $16.00 gets you, 8 wings and a couple of pieces of celery and carrots not even a salad. The place is a rip off!! Don’t waste your money!!

Service was great. Had wings, Wednesday special .79 each, happy hour drinks 2 for 1… wings were good. We went early so it wasn’t crowded till we left.

Burnt Fries, These are not sweet potato fries. These are white potato fries cooked in really old used oil. See the photo!! And lights are burned out at bar so couldnt see they were burnt very well. But they tasted it. I told the short haired blond bartender to no response from her.

Sunday night was very busy and loud, but we had a good time. Salad eaters thought the salad was huge. Burgers are cooked same way- medium well. Apparently there is no disclaimer on the menu about eating undercooked meat so they can’t cook to order. Potato fries were yummy. Burger was OK, not really juicy. Could not hear jukebox over crowd. 3 second rule does not apply here. If you drop a fry on the table… let it go. Utensils are plastic. Staff very friendly and accommodating. They were busy so food took a while but it was a good place to enjoy company of friends.
