Good Italian food reasonable prices food came out real quick there wasn’t too many people there when we were here nice decor service wasn’t very good kind of dropped our food off no refills couldn’t imagine how it would be if there were people there. We might try it out again in the future. They were very slow at the time of vist. Maybe a different experience if there were other people in there

The decorating was breathtaking with murals on the walls and wisteria hanging from the ceiling. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. It was very clean, and the staff were actively cleaning throughout our visit. The food was great, and the portions were large. The Gamberi Fra Diavolo had the perfect acidity and spice. The clams were a little chewy, but it was still great overall. I added angel hair pasta to the dish. My husband ordered the pepperoni calzone and Alfredo. He said that both were good. I also ordered a tiramasu to go. The lady fingers weren’t soaked very evenly, but everything else about it was smooth and delicious. We ate at lunch time, and we were the only ones in the restaurant for a long time, so it was quiet. It was very affordable, and I would gladly return if I lived closer.

Beautiful dining room. Not your typical strip mall dining experience. Felt upscale… The calamari was perfectly cooked, served with a nice subtle red sauce. The shrimp, scallops and crab Alfredo was delicious as well as the spicy shrimp and scallops… another good dining experience some months later!

Fantastic, quiet little place with delicious food! The service was excellent. The Saltimbocca Alla Romana was presented beautifully and was very flavorful and light. Huge portion was split into two for lunch the next day. The breadsticks and sauce were a nice addition. Also extremely delicious, the breadsticks should come with a warning to “pace yourself” or you won’t have room for your entree! Tiramisu is my favorite dessert and theirs did not disappoint. Will be back again, again, and again!

Beautiful place with excellent food and service. We skipped the well know Italian chain for this locally owned and awesome restaurant. Delicious food with generous servings. I had the baked ziti and hubby had the salmon and veggies. Meal started with complimentary homemade Italian bread sticks. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed! Returned today (Sunday) and enjoyed the lasagna, sausage and peppers and amazing Mexican calzone! When we return to Louisville we will be back!

Wow Milano’s! Why haven’t we discovered you before now?! Beautiful atmosphere! Wonderfully attentive server Deliss! Delicious Italian food! First, they brought us a large basket of delicious seasoned ciabatta with a . Following this we ordered side salads, which were cold and crisp. Delicious! Then I ordered the eggplant Parmesan entrée, and my spouse ordered a slice of meat lovers pizza. I thought it was too romantic for pizza, but he insisted ha ha Both entrées were delicious and hearty. His slice of pizza was HUGE and perfect! Crust to die for!.Clean restrooms. Ample parking. We will definitely return!

One of the best dining experiences my husband and I had thus far on our brief visit in Louisville, Kentucky. The service team displayed attentiveness to our table as they were quick to refill our drinks as they noticed they were a little less than half way through. In addition, service staff frequently checked to make sure you were enjoying everything and there was nothing in which you were in need of. Ariel, our server was really on point. The menu included many traditional Italian items and the food was amazing. Sauces and doughs made from scratch. Hands down you must visit on your trip to Kentucky.

This place right here is Sorprendente! Every time I come here it’s Soldi. I mean Calzones as big as your head with more cheese than you could shake a Mouse at. What music does the cheese love? A: Mozart-ella. I’m telling you this is Louisville’s #bestkeptsecret. There’s even a private dinning room in the back if you want to have a business dinner or plan a global over. Me and la mia famiglia had the Chicken Carbonara Calzones, Spicy Tuscan Garlic Chicken and the Kids Baked Spaghetti Meat Sauce. Oh so good. The Alfredo sauce was amore.
If you’re looking for great Italian, great atmosphere, great prices and great service then I highly recommend #MilanoItalianRestaurant

The lasagna was tasty. The meat calazone was large, but the filling was a bit flat and underwhelming.
The smoking old-fashioned was really fun and delicious and the wine was priced nicely. The complimentary table bread and marinara was also delicious.
The servers were friendly and attentive, but their limited English made it difficult to get some questions answered clearly.
All in all, it’s good if you are looking for inexpensive and fast sit down Italian food.
