Standard bar fare. What you would expect. From an Ivy League town, I would’ve expected a bit more high brow? I mean that in a good way. I love a down home type of feel to a bar. Sports on the TV, great music piped through the place, and a very appreciative crowd. For a nightcap I would say it’s a good place to go.

PRINCETON: A beloved local dive bar in the heart of downtown, Ivy Inn is known for its cheap drinks, tasty bar food, and dog-friendly outdoor patio. We especially loved the shaded seating under the big tent that is perfect for staying cool while hanging out with your pup. The vibe is super friendly; we had a blast chatting with regulars and bartender Adam. Just a heads-up: dogs are welcome until sundown, since things get lively here once the party kicks off. It is a great spot to grab a drink, mingle, and unwind. Cash only!

Great watering hole in Princeton. The beer was reasonable the band decent and the bartenders were friendly. The outdoor seating is very inviting specially in good weather.

Outdoor patio has transformed this place from a respected dive bar– with weeknight trivia and karaoke– to the go-to public house for Riverside parents, Littlebrook parents, and a few graduate departments at Princeton University. Relaxed setting with interesting people. Not to mention beers for as little as $2 (not including tip). Cash only. Figuring out food vending after the departure of Saturn Pizza, but still offers family-friendly American fare. Satisfying buffalo wings. Trivia night and/or karaoke remains a weekly ritual for many.

The perfect dive bar. Super fresh taps, and good food selection from a partnering business. Yes, cash only, but it’s so worth it. Rolling rock tastes like paradise here. Good staff too. There’s no good reason to not come here.

Late night spot, no fan of: Cash at door to get in. Cash ONLY at bar. Slow service at bar. Not doing last call, asking for a beer, eye roll from bartender.
UPDATE: Ever been to a hole in the wall type place ? They wish they were that good. This is a one bathroom Dump.
Halloween, guy letting people in, asks, yes we’re 6 ppl. Let’s in 3 . Fine. Then random girl cuts. He whispers how many after a few to her… a bunch she says. And 7-8 people , 5 being guys guys us ?
Vibes off. Place is dirty . ALWAYS UNDER STAFFED .Keep the $6 bottle beers. Guy to girl ratio 4:1

Feels like a German beer pub with the outdoor benches. There are no pretzels, but you can order pizza to your table. The beer you can get in the inside at the bar. The place is cash only, , no credit card is accepted. Parking is on the street, spaces are limited. At the time we visited the place a bingo night was running, it was nice.
